Calling others moron does not make you a smart@ss. Look at his hook shots, they usually went in nothing but net and now they are dancing on the rim. He used to spin and dunk and now he can ONLY spin and pass... He went totally ineffective against Foster and Bogut, guys he usually EATS alive----even considering he might be still fighting with flu or fatigue, that is not good. He relies on his FT more than ever to put up his number. Try to be a little bit more objective won't hurt...

Um...Battier did an okay job on Lebron I thought. Not good, but not bad either. Lebron still posted a pretty crazy ( but normal for Lebron) statline.

It would've been a different ballgame if they had their PFs. Your team will pretty much be screwed if you have Donyell Marshall starting for you.

When did Yao ever swish his hook shots and spin and dunk regularly, pray tell? If he is as you described, he would be averaging 30 points a game. Just be thankful we have a FT getting- and scoring- machine. I'd rather have a Yao that can get FTs and foul others out. He had two bad games in a row AFTER getting 36 points, 19 rebounds against GSW and you're trying to make it sound like Yao's become a washed up player.

wow, we shot 35% in the first half and ended up shooting 44% :D

battier scored 13 pts and rafer scored 12 pts in the 2nd half alone :D

bonzi got 2 dunks, more than he had the entire year :D

our stars weren't completely dominant, but we won AGAIN with balance offense, rebounding and defense.

more importantly, we CLOSED OUT A GAME ONCE AGAIN.

great assist to turnover ratio for the entire team.

If they play close to Adelman's plan, they should regularly get over 25 assists.

Nice win over a decent team.

I was at the game tonight, gotta say Chuck Hayes did not look like a happy man when he was pulled after only a few minutes. He went to the end of the bench muttering to himself, now i have no idea what he was sayin but he looked pissed about bein pulled.

Agree, reduction of Yao's low post position could make our offense flow more smoothly as well as creating more wide open shots for teammates. Also it keeps Yao away from silly turnovers, fatigue, foul trouble, being defense liability. By passing out instead of solo low post, he can enjoy ready rebounding position and contribute more on Off Boards.

Thanks coach for the bright idea, it is better for the whole team :)

It is his own fault, if he can't score the ball, he can't play.

I expect Hayes to be pissed, he is not getting any quality minutes, and Scola and Landry watched from the sidelines in the fourth quarter. With Scola and Landry playing well expect Hayes to see less time barring an injury.

Perhaps Adelman chooses to go a little smaller in the 4th, to play small ball with Yao and an undersized 4, then again Bonzi was playing well tonight.

This was a good win for us! A quality win! Even though, the Cavs are obviously not an elite team, they are playoff caliber (especially since they are in the East). With Varejao and Gooden not playing they lost a lot of size in the front court to assist LeBron and Z man. Nonetheless, this is a good start to the homestand. The staples tonite for the Rockets were playing good defense and outstanding job on the glass. This will immensely improve our chances to become a much more significant player in the playoff picture.

Got to keep it going though! Super courageous job by T-Mac to go out and contribute when you know he did not have much but, though not Jordan-esque performance under the circumstances, his contributions were significant in inspiring the Rockets to this win. Hits a key 3 to put us up by double digits late in the fourth. Good job, T-Mac. Now get well for the 'Hawks on Sat nite. :D

[rquoter]"LeBron was really, really good tonight, and took most of my focus," Battier said. "I think I forgot about my offense a little bit. That guy does that to you."[/rquoter]

No, Shane. You do that to yourself.

You know, now that the rockets can get scoring from the PF position Rafer really doesn't bother me anymore. He hits timely 3's without missing too many and he makes nice layups every now and again. I really think he's pulling his own right now. He's not going to play much better than this.
