What a bunch of pessimists. Did everyone say Dwayne Wades career was over when he had jumpers knee? What about Jason Williams? Vince Carter?

Francis overall came up severely short on the "We Want Steve" demand. He hasnt been on even the die hards' projected Rockets lineups for months.

Will still give him credit for considering Houston again. For giving it another go where it started for him, when he could have signed elsewhere. He only contributed marginally on the court before the wheels fell off. But he showed love and loyalty to the city. Got to appreciate that.

I think he'll attempt to play ball again but who knows..all that buyout money can change someone's approach  Gotta thank him for the one AWESOME game against Phoenix, that for at least one day inspired the fans to dream big again :)

Oh no, who are we going to play if Alston, Head, Brooks and Mike James get injured?

Grizzlies already have three good point guard prospects, all rookie contracts. Why would they want Francis?

Damnit, I was hoping he could revive his career and rock it next to TMAC. Crapola.

Being a big Francis love, this has me pretty bummed. I've been wondering all these weeks on his status and there was nothing new about him til now. That sucks. I was hoping for him to contribute to the overall depth of the team. Without his legs bringing him down he would've eventually started for sure. Hope to see him bounce back next year.

And no his career is not over. He's younger then James and Alston and at full health better than both of them combined. Amare came back better than ever after his surgery that put him out Francis will recover and be rejuvenated. Ya'll didn't forget his putback slam in the preseason right? Just flashes of what he can still show when he was "out of shape". Legs working fine and in shape, the skys the limit.

    ROFLMAO...you are just mean !!!!

Let's see if the Chronicle actually asks about the procedure and the prognosis....hell Clutch, why don't you do an article about it?

At least ask the questions that the Chronicle never seems to ask.
