My friend is looking to ruin his life and propose. Anyone got good spots to get engagement/wedding rings from?

My brother just got engaged, and they went to IW Marks to get the ring. He was VERY happy with them. They went to a few other places, and he said IW Marks had the best customer service.

Hmm, not a real bad idea. Rent to own or something like that. Like they do with furniture and appliances. :D

    marriage is a beautiful thing!!!!!!

on that note, Zadok's is great. i absolutely love my rings and their service is amazing. not stuffy, not pushy, very friendly, on time, etc.

all i know is i went to that robbins brothers place and it felt like walking into a wal-mart. no thanks.

Women recognize brand more than the actual quality. So just get one from Tiffany & Co.

They have the quality as well as the name. I'd tell the guy to buy or rent the remastered version of Breakfast at Tiffany's, watch it with the chick, and then officially pop the question and give her that Tiffany's box. She'll freak.

You may be on to something there. Would work perfectly in cities similar to where I live (we have a 70% divorce rate here).
