Sure, it has its positives, but also has many negatives, specially for people who come from Texas.

Cost of living, weather, limited space, dependence on public transportation, ridiculously cocky sports fans, and 99% of the city is shut down by 2am. In other words, if you want to eat at 2:01 am, you can only rely on 1, maybe 2 places in the whole city. You know its bad when McDonalds closes at 10 pm.

...and it really doesnt offer anything that any other major city cannot offer, other than old, historic buildings.

No, waiting for the bus to the medical center every morning at 6 am in the freezing cold is not a good thing. Sometimes the bus arrives 3 min after I get there, sometimes it arrives 30 min after I get there. Definitely not fun under frigid conditions.

Have no clue, its really annoying. Basically, if you go out, then expect to come home to eat some food after 2 am...unless you want to go to the one pizza place in the area that has a line of 100 people. But, then again, trying to find a cab at 2 am when all the bars close is a task in itself...since everyone is on the same street fighting for the same cabs.

Basically, you get home at 2:45 and you are starving and drunk.

yeah, but so do a lot of other places. You have to remember that Massachusetts and states surrounding it were some of the first places to have slaves in North America.....I think that has a lot to do with it

I guess Im completely oblivious to this, but I have failed to see any racial issues in the 3 years that Ive been here.
