I heard on CNNSI or sportscenter that Kandi wants a big man coach to work with him after practice but LAC won't get him one. They got Bill Walton to work with him over the summer (this is prime joke material).

This doesn't sound like the unmodivated player someone tried to paint him as.

The rockets already have big man coaches plus solid big men already. I get the feeling that he wants out, but doubtful the rockets could snag him.

For a while I was disappointed in the Kandi man because he looked like he wasn't giving his all in games. But nowadays I just look at Odom and notice how that big smile is gone and now Lamar sometimes looks as lethargic as Kandi. Its hard to be a Clipper when you want to win. It makes me respect Mo Taylor more because 1) he brings the fire and energy every night (and has been in Odom and Kandi’s faces about being professional and giving it all on the court) and 2) he still wanted to be a Paperclip despite the fact that he had served his time and would be free after this season.

From what I understand, Kandi is feeling defeated by the Clipper lack of improvement. He tries to improve but the club (owner) won't meet him halfway. It’s the same reason Odom has been "bitter" lately. Both kids now know what the Clippers are really about and have to live with that fact for 2 and 3 more years respectively. They both know that the club isn’t about winning.
