Houston has the tallest skyline in the state! How is that not distinctive?? The Wells Fargo, Chase tower, Bank of America, Continental Airlines - all distinctive buildings. Transco is the best building in the state, too.
Those are some uglyass plates. How's that red white and blue going to look on a green car? At least the Natural sort of blends in with every color.
Those are pretty bad plate choices. I miss the plain ol' black-n-whites from the 80's. The state name at the top of the plate should speak for itself! Here's what I have on my two cars... the standard Nevada plate...
I liked Lone Star Texas the best...New Texas came a close second but I don't like how the merged all the skylines together...it's not natural looking (I think it would have been better had they seperated the skylines with hills or plains, etc.
They also have number of votes now. Lone Star Texas is leading. It would be my second choice, behind Natural Texas and ahead of keeping it the same.
It still is hardly recognizable as Houston's skyline. The whole license plate looks like a Barge. BTW, I voted for Traditional Texas. The Lone Star Texas has too many damn colors on it. Less is more.
Agree, less is more....and Traditional. I think I like the Traditional because when I'm traveling to another state, they'll know I'm from TEXAS.
I really like the current plate actually. I especially like the stars at the top with the space shuttle.
Ok they finally got it right.... San Antonio is the first 2 buildings. Dallas has the next 3. Houston has the next 9 or so. Then Austin has the last 5.
When I see that plate at a distance, the first thing I will think of is that it's a line of smoke stacks in Pasadena/Deer Park. Not a good design. I think there should be a montage of images with Nolan Ryan, Hakeem and Earl Campbell.
dozens of people are waiting to call but we have to add 7 digits to keep up with the rapid, illegal, population increase...i'm surprised a mexican flag isn't one of the options
according to the website, Lone Star is leading... and we've only got until noon today to finish voting?!
