What are the differences between Jan. and Feb. VS Wolves ?

In Jan. Rox won the Wolves easily, and without Tmac ,Yao played less time
and all of the Rockets can get the points.

    What about Feb.???
We won the Wolves at the end of the game, and hardly.
and Yao get less points as well .

I want to know the differences between the two games?

Why Rox won so so so hardly.

I know the answer to this riddle! Because they played last time and they played yesterday. Therefore they got different results but still a W.

Because Chuck was guarding Al Jefferson last time, who only got 6 points. :D

Telefair played better, and McCants was on early. And Yao had an off night. You can tell he needs the all-star break to get some rest. Hayes def should have been on Jefferson minute for minute.

Biggest difference is the Wolves have been on a roll lately, defeating both the Suns and Warriors in like the past week or 2. Jefferson has been on fire, and the young team is starting to learn how to win.

    defense.

When Rockets was in diffcult situation, they usually defended well.

Recently, coach Adelman benched the defense (Hayes) too much and too often.

The team is heading to a dangerous direction even they are winning.

Teams don't play exactly the same from game to game. Right after we blew out the Wolves by 40, they went and beat Phoenix. Is that an indication that we played much, much better than Phoenix? Not necessarily.

Uhhh T-Wolves played the Celtics and now Jefferson thinks he's as good or better than Kevin Garnett.

chuck hayes was guarding al jefferson that game. there was also a four minute stretch in the first quarter where the twolves didnt score in which the rockets couldve have gotten a 15 to 20 point lead if they had hit shots. that wouldve broke the twolves and led to another blowout

Well, you see, what had happened was that the Rockets sucked then and we were going at a 1-1 win to loss ratio and now, they are going on a 7-1 win to loss ratio!

What is a indication of us being a better team?

Blowing out Minn, but losing to Miami, or beating all the teams by whatever margin happens to be at the end?

    Who is to say?

Is chocolate ice cream better than vanilla ice cream?
    Is a steak better well-done or medium-well?
What is the worst burger joint: McDonald's or Burger King?

    Hmmmm....

Yao was put in an off night situation by Adelman and teammaes. The scoring gain by Scola is not nearly enough to cancel the defense loss by play Yao on Jefferson.

On offense, Scola scored a few points more than Chuck, Yao scored a few points less, not much gain here.

But on defense? Yao on Jefferson is a huge error, Scola doesn't do much either. The defense loss is big.

I still think when both Yao and Tmac on the floor, Hayes is a better option to start because we have two superstars who plays better offense than defense, so we need more balance on defense here.
