Coincidentally, I only see one true center in that list. You might be able to make an argument for two.

hopefully, T-mac & Yao will have a good game together next game. Yao was good for a month. So, i let him have these 4 games break.

everyone's allowed to get into a slump at some point.

2 1/2 months of great play with 1 1/2 weeks of sub par play is fine. i'm sure he'll get out of this as soon as he gets back to houston.

However Minnesota won 5 of the last 7 games, they were not so bad team recently

It bothers me when Yao gets only 11 shots. He is easily our most efficient offensive player.

Yeah it's great when TMac and Rafer shoot well, but can we really rely on that every night?

Players on other teams are allowed to have good games from time to time and not surrender in the 2nd quarter. No?

Al Jefferson is talented and had a great game tonight. Tip my hat to him. But some people look for any reason to b**** about Rockets players.

No, Yao did not have a good game tonight, but he was there for a pretty important 3-point play at the end.

It was less than a month ago when the same Al Jefferson was 2 for 10 against the Rockets. It's just the vagaries of a 82 game season.

Stop getting your panties in a knot over a win.

Yao looked tired all three games. He looks lost, not focused, and not ready to play at all. Maybe Coach A should think about reducing his minutes to a consistent 35 for maximum production.

Tmac was just the Tmac in 01-02 tonight. Clutch! Keep it up!

I'm not worried about Yao's performance one big. No, he didn't play great tonight - but that's the exception, not the norm. So I'll cut him some slack - he deserves it.

Just like T-mac deserves some slack when he has a bad game.

Yao will be fine, no need to make a big deal about Jefferson. It happens....one game doesn't make a trend.

Did you read what rdsgonzo13 wrote?

    And you considered that truth??

Yeah, Big Yao got schooled/owned by Al Jefferson all night. So what??

It did not mean he was not competing. If he was not competing, you won't even have him scoring 16 points and doing all his untiring running up and down the court, providing shields/PNR for his team mates.

It was a mismatch against Al Jefferson.....and frankly the Big Man had been drained of his physical strength lately.

Aren't you grasping for straws a bit, most of those were simply bad games, and besides I wouldn't call it owned, he outplayed Amare in meeting two. He didn't guard Bosh for most of the game. Harrington is not GS center, and plus he returned the favor last week.

I dont know that they were unfocused on purpose for the first 3 Qs. Just looked like they were overthinking Adelman's offense.

I have loved the last couple of wins because it shows we can come from behind, grind it out and win even on an off night for 1 or both of our superstars.

Yeah, just trade Yao. Then no one's saving rockets' ass when T-mac's out there.

I just cannot understand some fans in this forum, why do they always wanna to trade one of our two best players when their play sucks for one or two games when they contribute a lot in the others. Just ****ing annoying!

Stop hating, if you are just a TOF or YOF, just be it, this is a ROCKET ONLY FAN Forum

Whatever Al Jefferson has been taking in the space of 3 weeks (he scored 6/6 against us on 11/1) lets get Yao some :)

But I thought Yao's individual stats didn't matter if we won?

man this board is just so negative when one of our stars has a bad game. as long as we win, it shouldn't matter.

y'all should be happy we continue to have a balanced offense.

    yao will bounce back soon.

Glad that we won. But I'm not excited about it. If Rockets keep playing like this, we will be kicked out in the first round if we can make the playoff.
