When I first heard about this trade I thought Houston would be sending Olajuwon into exile. And I wondered why Toronto would want such an old player...to sell tickets maybe? However, looking at the Raptors record now has me wondering how good they would be if they had him. They are 26-21 without a legitimate Center. Add Olajuwon into the mix and you begin to wonder how far the Raptors would go. With two legitimate scoring threats they would look a lot like the Rockets of 94. And in the East, I think they may have been a dominating factor. It makes you think that maybe the Raptors were looking to win the title when they were looking at that trade. Maybe Toronto Management knows exactly what it's doing. It may also give us a look at what the Raptors will be doing in the off-season this year....like making a run at the major free agents.
