http://thehowevafiles.blogspot.com/2008/02/yao-ming-wolf-in-nice-guy-clothing.html OK, this was funny.
Nothing new there. The writer is Pryuenesque. (sorry, not a jab to you, Pryuen) Yao probably get advice from his teammates and coaches to talk like that sometimes. I remember Chandler said he was surprised some of the things uttered out of Yao's mouth.
Nice find. I think I've seen it all before, but it was worthe a second look. On the last video, is that Walter Hermann that he pushed down?
Yao has lived in the US long enough to know exactly what he's saying. I'm glad he talks a little trash and love it when he gets angry.
ROFL!! I was just going to post this Durvasa!! I am doing my post lunch basketball blog searching and saw this on True Hoop. Very amusing!
Thanks for these, hadn't seen them before. Yao has turned a corner this year. With the refs actually being fair on when to call a foul on him or not (like when going for a block), Yao has increased his aggressiveness and does not back down.
No man, it is a player from the tall blacks (new zealand national team) from the olympics in sydney (i think).
If I'm a 300 Lbs guy and someone would try to dunk on me, you know damn right I won't let that happen, with that being said I'm happy to see that Yao has increased his aggressiveness every year
Thats a first time a saw a shorty trying to bully a BIG GUY! Which was very unnatural so Yao set it straight!
Durvasa: Yao's trash talking is not from the heart, it is an act, taught to him by other NBA players as a way to be on the court. It is not part of his culture, unlike many of the other trash talkers. This is a major distinction!
