This is the #1 time of year for A/V sales...hence, it's the best time of year to buy.

How does olvia compare to other cheap models like westinghouse and bravia?

I'm very happy with my 37" Olevia, I'd recommend it. The colors look great, and the brightness is very good. The response time for the tuner is a bit slow if you 're relying on it. Also, the set is a bit thick for an LCD, but not too bad. I also don't like how the TV was packed in the box. Assuming the TV makes it to you in one piece, it's a good TV.

Both Oliviea and Vizio are great TVs.
