We are at the mercy of tmac. That mercy didn't work out in the past seasons. Let the playoff tell us if it works this time. If it fails again, for God's sake, enough is enough
Last year is not that old lol. But sure, what is our record this year without him? 6-5 I think? If you call that did well, then I dunno what 20-10 without Yao last year would qualify as?
Mclady... had a great game... but please he just hit his shots at the end of the game.... many of them were from 18 feet + glad we won the game... and glad Mclady hit his shots... but the next game....when he goes on one of his 7 for 22 ....you guys better not be resting on his laurels....talking about how he had great assist numbers or was doubled on the pnr crap... because if you are and let him slide..... when the playoffs come....dont be acting like its a shock to you when we get knocked out of the first round.... aim high or get out of the game...
To the guy who wants to trade yao for amare and marion....HAHA Marion contract + amare contract = 30+ million yaos contract= 12-13 million lol 30+ million plus tmacs 20 = 50 lol leaving 8 million for spots on other 12 positions. hes funny im new to the forums wats yof and tof
I proposed that trade to some TOF who claimed a couple of Monsters for Yao would make ROx a Champion.
This is the same old Rockets team we've seen for years. Either Yao has a huge night and McGrady ends up sucking or T-Mac has a huge night and Yao ends up sucking. And all of the "role" players have a mediocre game. Seriously, what's new here? I've seen that Rockets team. They can't get past the first round. They're probably never going to get past the first round. I signed up to watch the new Adelman team, which is supposed to feature five or six guys in double figures and a balanced offense. Most importantly the new Adelman team is supposed to be able to get past the first round. That's pretty much the whole justification for an Adelman team and not a Van Gundy team. I think against elite competition they will do the exact same thing they did against the old Rockets team--shut down the two superstars and watch the Rockets crumple and fold. Beating Milwaukee is not a problem. Has it ever been? Beating GS/Phoenix/NO--that's a problem.
haha are you blaming TMac for losing the playoffs last year? Go check his numbers and then come back. You do know last year in the playoffs Yao got owned by Okur right? I haven't seen a superstar get stripped and blocked as many times as Yao had. And that game 7 when he got only 7 FRIGGIN REBOUNDS?! WTF?! If your center gets 7 rebounds forget about it! That game 7, in the last 2 minutes we gave up so many offensive rebounds it was unfriggin believable!
why can't we just talk about the ROCKETS? why is tmac such a polarized character on this board? he struggles -> he gets hated. he plays well -> he gets hated. i don't get it. why do u stay on this board if all u do is hate on tracy? and people for wanting to trade yao, are you stupid? yao isn't allowed for off games? it's a b2b. he'll be back to his old dominating self v. the wolves.
Some YOFS states whether we want to trade marion and amare for Yao. So please educate them No one here who want to trade Yao even brother with that opinion. You don't need even to think, if we trade Yao out, every teams would be sending faxes like crazy.
Wow, 5-11 and a double double from Yao is called being owned! I suspect only YOFs would think like that.
I just posted this. This is the same old Rockets team we've seen for years. Either Yao has a huge night and McGrady ends up sucking or T-Mac has a huge night and Yao ends up sucking. Yao had 12 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 blocks not well?? Bonzi with 10 pts, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, and a block not well?? Rafer with 10 points, 9 assists, 2 rebounds and a block not well?? And Battier had 9 points, 6 rebounds, 2 blocks, and a steal, and some great defense. Nobody else had an outstanding game, but several other Rockets played well.
TMac's number and mercy looked good in the playoff, but we failed. We will fail again with the same number and mercy. are you gonna happy?
