An ugly win with the only bright point on Landry. Yao is playing bad offensively and defensively, especially defensivelly. I don't understand why coach A lets Tmac play that much at the beginning, for the whole first quarter if I get it right. Tmac is too slow, and he is really bad on defense in the first three quarters. I don't care if he is a hero in the ending moment (he is not for today), he should not stay on the court that long if he couldn't hold his energe at a high level throughout the first three quarters. We all know Tmac can give us some brilliant moments, but I don't want to see they are mixed with a lot of lazy moves and low intensities. Rafer, as a mystry, played awefully again when tmac is back. Tinsley is a headache for us, but still he should have played better. The luck saves us for once, but we should not put us into the same situation again tomorrow.
McLady has been doing all those long jumpers when the game is on the line. When he hits those jumpers, he is god. When he does not hit, blames on his teammates. McLady is a cancer to the team!
What about Novak? He was awesome with all those donuts plus the 1 assist and the outstanding defense. I think I saw Kareem Rush laughing while Novak was guarding him.
it was an ugly game... but you can tell we were better then them as a team. they had not interior presence on the offensive end and just settle for perimeter shots. our players were just better, but played lazily 'cept for landry. where's the brooks and scola hustle? hope we'll step it up tomorrow.
Can you please cite examples of when he blames his off shooting nights on his teammates? He has quite a bit of those so I assume you can back that statement up with tons of evidence, right?
CL won this game for us. What an effort. A starter in the making??? Dude was everywhere on defense and made some clutch shots. Simply amazing to watch! Can't stop
I actually thought that the first quarter looked okay for ball movement, despite the complete lack of energy. Things went downhill from there. The whole T-Mac issue is far from settled. I was hoping that the Rockets could use this road trip as a chance to really work T-Mac into the offense, since they're playing powder puffs. Now I'm starting to worry about them dropping a game or two against Milwaukee and Minnesota. Hasn't Minnesota stepped it up in the last couple of games?
I have been paying attention to your posts and you have nothing nice to say about Yao Ming. You always wait for the moment that he didn't do well that run your mouth on it. And of course you will hide in your hole after his good games. Any reason for it? Wanna share?
Lack of energy, a urgly game for Rocket. Second round in playoffs? No way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ready to trade or rebuild the team!
Balanced scoring tonight. Did anybody notice that rushed jump shot Rafer took at the end of the 2nd or 3rd quarter? On FSN, you had a birdseye view of the shot. He swung the ball all the way across his body and tried to release it while his arms were still moving horizontally. It was a horrid looking shot for a professional NBA guard. Even if Rafer can't shoot consistently, he should at least be trying to use better form.
One thing I do have a problem with though...it looked like Indiana played much better motion offense then the Rockets. At one point, Houston was just running blatant ISOs, with Yao initiating a P&R if nothing was working...so it got pretty ugly. The win is nice, but I hope the Rockets get this as a wake-up call; the Leastern division still has some game.
