Tonight our team will be pursuing their 6th staright road victory, something they have not done in 10 years. We are in the midst of what seems to be a major turning point for this team. So I ask you all.....

Do you still believe in Coach Adelman?
Do you think this team has what it takes to make a run?
Is Tracy McGrady destined for playoff success?

I am willing to give him some time to prove himself.....but still unsure about him overall. However, I am much happier with our coach...THIS year.

    ;)

Do you think this team has what it takes to make a run?

Yes, YES..YES....have been saying it is coming all year, and now it is time.

Is Tracy McGrady destined for playoff success?

Yes, IF he plays team ball, if he tries to take over, then no, it makes it too easy for the other team to defense.

I think if we continue to play like the way we've been, we'll eventually make it to the playoffs. But I don't know how far we can go. We need more talent on this roster to go far. Can you honestly sit here and see us beating Western bigs like Hornets, Suns, Warriors, and Jazz in a 7 game series??? We need better support for our stars.

So yes, I see us making the playoffs. But that's about as far as we'll get. Same story as last year. First round and we're out.

    ITS TIME!!!!

We need to win the next 3 games for sure... and then beat Cleveland at home. That will put us on the right track.

I beg to differ about us not wanting to see those teams in the playoffs... I'm thinking its THOSE teams that don't want to see US in the playoffs... you really think the freaking Hornets are going to keep Yao and Tmac under control in the playoffs??

I'll agree that Tmac doesn't go 100% all the time, in fact he probably goes about 65% for most of the game then about 90% in the clutch during the regular season... But Tmac in the playoffs goes 100% and so does Yao. And when Tmac is going 100% he is unstoppable plain and simple.....

The Rockets are going to be a beast if they can sneak into the playoffs.

It's true TMAC goes 100% in the playoffs..but he only goes 100% at about 80% of the time while on the court. If he even slacks for 1 quarter, which you have to admit, he did do before, then we're screwed. Case in point, game 7 of the Jazz series last year.

If they're serious about making the playoffs, they need to sweep this 3-game road trip. Pacers, Bucks, and T'Wolves. It doesn't get much easier than that.

I'd pretty much agree with all of that. One thing about the Rockets this year is our fourth quarter D has been downright bad for the most part. Penetration kills us in the 4th quarter of games. Rockets are very much alive, but they better figure out how to incorporate TMAC into the offense where it flows, instead of everyone standing around and watching him play.

Tricky questioning. The first 2 questions are 'do you think it's possible' while the third is making a definitive 'yes it will/no it won't happen'.

Yes to the first two. Do I think Tmac has a chance at playoff success? Absolutely. Destined? Not yet...I'll make a commitment when Tmac is back w/ the team for a longer period of time to make a judgment call.
