Latest article/interview of Yao Ming by Wang Meng of the Titan Sports after the win over the Golden States Warriors.

Yao Ming thought the Rockets had found the new means and confidence facing those small ball run-and-gun teams.

    What do you guys think?

Hopefully Yao is right about Scola remaining the starter. I don't think there should be much question now.

Thanks for the interview, great comments about Hayes and Scola. He feels the same way many of us do i think.
Hopefully Scola will start tonight and it was not just a one game thing though.

i wish Tmac had the same approach to colds, flu, etc.... as Yao. Yao might have actually be calling out Tmac, for not playing...lol

“Hey, that was truly a handsome and crispy victory.”

What the hell does that mean?

Yao has always needed a big 4 next to him just like David Lee in NY next to Eddie Curry. A big 4 either Landry or Scola would help him immensely by making defenses pay attention to the scoring PF and then Yao can go one-on-one with his man. Either that or the PF would be left wide open to score at will. That should be our answer against Utah and Carlos Boozer.

LOL he talks that way too when making a block. "It is a crispy feeling when I make a good block".

I guess in other words, we should write this season off as the great experiment? In another year we'll be good according to Adleman.

Yao Ming: I have talked this over with the head coach on how we should play. Our coach said something cannot be rushed and we should not be over-anxious; it takes time to build up team chemistry and to be familiar with the new offensive systems. As long as we can hold our feet and pass this (critical) period of time, we will gradually become better. And perhaps after 1 year or so, we shall become very good. As a player, to trust your head coach is the only choice.

Let's just count the playoffs as our second season under Adelman. Here's hoping for it.

    We’ve won handsomely and comfortably?

I thought the Rockets almost choked at the end.

Every culture has its unique way of expressing feelings. Try translate "this outfit looks cool" word for word to another language and you might get the same WTH response. My guess is Yao was simply saying the way they won that game was way cool ;)

Did Yao just kind of call out Tracy? Seems like even he's fed up with Tracy missing games whenever he even breaks a fingernail.

But isn't the way rockets handled the last two minutes handsome and sweet? The margin was pretty comfortable at the end.
