Superstar based on what? Past history? "Potential"? Certainly not based on production this year. Nonsense.
he can still take over games, he didnt do it consistantly and i agree he shouldnt be there but lets not act like tmac is some wore out old player.
tmac played 25 full games this yr (where he didn't have to leave at halftime due to an injury). his stats in those 25 games are: 25.5ppg, 5rpg, 5.7apg, 45%fg, 32%3pt (his fts still sucked so i didn't really calculate that). take it for what it's worth.
Don't you just love how Kidd and Wade (28 wins combined) will both not only make the All-Star squad but start? Meanwhile, Baron Davis (28 wins and better than Kidd) doesn't even make the West's squad. Not that i'm saying Wade isn't a great player or anything like that but his team is just beyond awful.
kidd's team SUCKS. wade's team is the worst (and he has missed games). and yet the media only hates on tracy when he was one of the leading vote getters for the G spot. the reason they say why tracy shouldn't go?, esp. barkley 1) his team is underachieving (and yet jkidd's team was picked to go to the ECF by him) 2) he has missed too many games (dwade did the same and his team is even WORST in the east). don't worry BBS, the tmac hate is universal lol
I like this much better than two seasons ago when the All Star game was the only game he showed up to.
[Barfs upon reminder of the 05/06 season in general......and LeBron's blatent last second foul on T-Mac]
Maybe now the Rockets will start paying attention to him. Was sickening the last few years watching him go for 30 because nobody would guard him. I kept thinking to myself, "if West did this to everyone else, he would be an all-star." Looks like he did.
Tmac and Yao are a good combo...the problem is getting them both on the court...at the same time...playing basketball.
I guess this will motivate him, a little. I'm surprised that he didn't get the All Star selection, he had some nice games, especially at begining of the season. He DESERVED TO BE THIS YEAR ALL-STAR, but not as starter because of injuries. Brandon Roy? Right...
