Maybe it was just Sir Charles blathering but the topic of discussion was Jason Kidd going to the Rockets....... What gives? He admitted the Rockets to being Yao's team and that Jason Kidd would put us over the top...... Did anyone else catch that?
If the Rockets can get Jason Kidd without giving up Tmac and Yao, they will be real championship contenders. Assumming Kidd doesn't slow down due to old age and still playing the way he has been.
we don't need to ship rafer. tmac makes the same money as jkidd. it could be a straight up deal. the problem? morey doesn't want to trade tmac for jkidd.

Not that we/they would, but you can trade: Tracy, Steve Francis, MIke james, and Kirk Synder for Jkidd, and Richard Jefferson. Tmac: 22.0 ppg, 4.7 rpg, 5.2 apg in 34.9 minutes Jefferson: 24.0 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 2.8 apg in 39.0 minutes Pretty much the same, but Jefferson is younger....
jefferson is NOT going to average 20+ if he comes here, he might sniff 14-15. we play a slow pace b/c of yao. i would agree to that trade if possible though (i don't want jkidd only and give p tmac). but NJ would want tmac if only it can keep rj, vince to play with tmac. NJ is in the 8th spot. they know they can still contend.

Are you kidding? Sure he could. He would have Kidd running the show, who he's been playing with and playing extremely well, Yao drawing double teams. I strongly disagree. I just don't think there's a chance to get him, or Kidd.
I wonder how much more does Kidd has left in the basement. The guy is 35 years old and had microfracture surgery before. Im guessing maybe 1-2 years.
Kidd's greatest strength is his ability to run a fast break. But I don't know we have enough players with the mindset or ability to run with him. People who are frustrated with Rafer's erratic shooting ... you aren't really improving on that with Kidd. Really, is he worth $14 million or whatever crazy amount he's earning?
