how many lawsuits have their been since riaa started doing this??? how many people and songs are downloading illegally since i started this 30 second post? there is a better chance to get hit by lightning while in a tree house drinking with the Alabama leprechaun than to get busted in a case like this. As a matter of fact, as a black man, I have a greater chance of getting shot right now as i go check the mail. RIAA is the last thing on my mind.

The verdict was dismissed. Judge threw out the bogus "making available" claim. New trial where the MAFIAA will have to prove actual infringement. Hooray for common sense.
exactly what i was thinking....the way the RIAA is handling this is worthless. its ticking people off and very very ineffective....i'm not exactly sure what can be done...i dont think illegal downloading will ever go away. their focus needs to be on trying to curve it down though.
