Republican Debate starts at 7:00PM (CST) on CNN with Anderson Cooper moderating. I thought he has done the best job of moderating during this candidate season.

Democrats will debate tomorrow. With it down to Hillary and Obama, I'm betting that it'll get nasty.

I wonder if Romney is going to ask Huckabee if he really thinks he can still win or if he is staying in the race to help McCain. Romney has to do something close to dramatic to stay in the race.

Anyone else ready to tape up McCain if he name drops one more time?

Mr. McCain, I knew Phil Gramm. I voted for Phil Gramm. You are no Phil Gramm.

Anderson Cooper is such a dick to Ron Paul.

But I like the way he asked Romney, "are you running for governor or president?"

    WOW!!!

Obama is in all their heads!

Both Huck and Romney have evoked Obama "change and hope and we need a new type of politics in washington" talking points!

    sweet!

I must say that Romney actually had a good debate (or at least he didn't let McCain bully him).

Horrible debate. Romney and McCain with their petty sparring match about who said what and when they said it. Huckabee and Paul sitting at the end of the table like they were just observing.

I can't believe that the GOP establishment has chosen these two as our "front-runners". It's like they're punting on 2008.

He beat McCain, if that's what you're saying. McCain did the improbable. He came out looking like more of an ******* than Romney.

Well I wasn't going to say, but my wife turned to me and said something like "if it's McCain and Hillary and he's an ******* like that in the debates, it's over"

It really turned my stomach. Romney has had a little bit of smugness the entire campaign, but McCain was horrible tonight. I get the idea that McCain would do the exact same thing that has crippled the Bush Administration. He's going to surround himself with lackeys and yes-men, and he's going to never hear anything but what a great job that he's doing.

Looking smug during a debate like this is one of the worst things a candidate can do, in my opinion. It makes the public feel offended and like they are being taken for granted. McCain is in real danger here of flubbing it. I agree with mc mark's wife (no doubt a fox and a liberal fox at that!) that if this McCain shows up in a debate with Ms. Clinton (assuming she makes it. we just don't know) he'll blow it. Obama has displayed a hint of smugness himself and needs to watch it. We all know he is very smart, but we don't like candidates too obviously full of themselves. Gore hurt himself against Bush in the debates (which Al clearly won, but didn't win the "smugness test! ;) ). Obama will need to be careful with Clinton. Women voters could quickly turn on him if they percieve Mr. Obama as condescending towards Ms. Clinton. Democratic voters, of course. Republican women just want to stay home and have babies. :p

    You're very kind sir ;)

Obama learned his lesson with "you're likable enough"

    Tomorrow should be fun!

I agree it should be fun.

Hillary is a better debater in terms of being able to look knowledgeable and issue oriented. I am for Obama, but without Edwards and the others he has to be very careful not to look overmatched/ inexperienced vs Hillary.

Obama- Clinton comes off a bit like a scholarly law professor vs a quick thinking trial attorney in a format that favors the trial attorney.
