dude, I can get to Vegas in 5 hours... I'm there. Have you seen the Belagio (sp?), where O is showing? People build $150,000,000.00 hotels in half a year there. And they're gorgeous. I think the Rockets will be on easy street there.

also, since I'm so concerned about Les' post Houston marketing campaign (you know the Rockets and the Comets:

Area 51 is 45 minutes away from Vegas

If this goes down, I'll be able to stay here (in the Wasatch) for snowboarding, and when I want to 'dabble', just cruise down to Vegas for a weekend game.

Life is truly too, too, nice.

I should temper this post since you guys may be loosing something special, but Houston has made the MGM grandest mistake ever.

What do you expect from a state that has a cocaine sniffin' frat boy for governor?

Now I know Les is bluffing. Vegas will not get a professional team until they outlaw gambling. The NBA owners would not approve that. Alexander needs to find a more viable city to bluff us with than Vegas and Louisville

Now all of you KNOW that Barkley will play again if this deal goes down! Hell, Jordan might come back in the league as a Rocket guard!

I would go for that myself.... could you imagine? They really wouldn't need a stadium, they should make the Rockets like a publicly owned team and allow them to just play for money at one of the hotels for each game! That would rock!

Could you imagine? Tonite at the brand new Aladdin Resort Hotel--The Vegas Rockets and for the halftime show--Lance Burton!

Oh man that would be the best vacation ever! Skiing, Gambling, and the Rockets!

I would be in heaven (pun intended)

of course I'm kidding never move them from Texas!

Achebe, I live outside of Dallas but spent more time in Houston than any other time in my life. The 2 championship years were special. That is just like the Titans weren't the Oilers. The Anti-Bud in full Effect.

    Pass 1st, shoot 2nd,
We wouldn't have to worry about getting Barkley, we would get Rodman to sign for the 2 M Exception.

Everyone who lives in Houston should be VERY concern that even rumors are flying about the Rockets moving. Take it seriously, unless you want to start admiring Francis in a different uniform in four years. Everyone needs to get their @ss out and vote for the new arena....I surely don't want to lose ANOTHER team.

ROCKet the VOTE!! if we get a second chance.
