We really have problem to guard 3 pointers. They hit 33 out 83 outside 3 point line v.s us during this season. Most of them are in 4th quarter.

I totally agree about RA. It was a masterful coaching performance tonight.

Yea we only at 25-20 but the good thing is that we are only 4 games out of the 5th spot.

They've done that to a lot of teams. That's what happens when you put several capable shooters on the floor at the same time, including your center at times. Multiple players can also drive to the basket to keep the defenses honest.

You're post is so stupid it doesn't warrant a reply but I'll throw you a bone anyways...

Did I even mention TMac in any of my posts in this thread?

Can we talk about the game and how we almost blew the game, instead of your usual this only fan and that only fan?

True, but every one of those teams ahead of us are very quality teams. The West is just overflowing with talent. Kind of sucks for teams like the Rockets that are a notch below the elite.

You are correct. I was looking at Ellis' stats.

Either way, Davis is not a high percentage shooter. This was bad shooting though.

Poster like u really bring down the quality of this board. I don't remember anyone saying trade yao when the rox went 22-12 without yao. As a long time rox fans this team needs Yao and T-Mac to play at a high level. Why can't newcomers like u understand that.

Actually there were plenty of Trade Yao threads when we went 22-12 without him. *Not that there should have been, or should be Trade Tmac threads now.

Oberto missed a pick n roll layup to take the lead. LOL! TD would have dunked it.

Though I am not as a INTELLIGENT sports fan as you are, I would enjoy our team's win after beat a tough opponent.

Yep I indeed cheer most of Yao's points tonight, cuz I can tell from the ball movement and teamplays that we are actually IMPROVING on the point of whether forcing the ball or not. But you have to admit a couple of FORCING ball regardless of double/tripple indeed reward us with timely points or 3 pts play.

You need to change your negative altitude a little bit, especially toward your T-mac's absence games. ;)

I don't understand how people can think we'd be better off without T-Mac. We were better tonight, but in games where Yao doesn't have it going on (or is injured) we need T-Mac!!!

Having said that, it is obvious (and our announcers mentioned it as well) that when we play without T-Mac our players advance the ball up the court and into the offence much more quickly. T-Mac just walks it up the court.

Our role players played out of their minds tonight. Nice, but I'd love to see it more consistantly.

and WHY WHY WHY did all of our movement stop in the 4th and guys just stood around and watched the ball handler try to create by himself. That's one of the main reason the lead shrunk in the 4th.

I have to admit it, I really thought we lost the game as soon as the Warriors took the lead. I didn't have faith that we'd come back. I'm SO glad I was wrong.

Good win when I didn't think we were going to pull it out. SA lost tonight (to the Sonics). And the Lakers have their hands full (to the Knicks)! It would be a wicked good night for us to win and 2 teams above us to lose to bottom dwellers.

    ROCKETS LIVE!!!

Thanks for reading to my deep concern for Steve Novak, did you read my other post for him? . . He might be passive bro, but more minutes of playing time will determine that I think, but as of now I think he should be the go to guy in the starting of the game . . by making 3 point plays for him, since obviously his weakness is creating for himself . . Also, maybe his playing time is limited due to the fact that he's the only white player on the team?! :(
