you prolly got banned for too much dumb comments like you made to me.

we lost the big lead and made a game of this cause we kept forcing it in to Yao and everybody else stood around and watched, resulting into TOs and indecisions; FACT

we just did enough at the end and stumbled across the finish line first before GS did

I thought for sure that the Rockets would lose. I was wrong (but not by much)! It was amazing that we actually won.

Did anyone notice that we gave up 30+ points again in the fourth quarter? What is with our defense in the fourth? If we weren't up by 20+ points earlier on, this would have been a blowout by GS.

Agree. I type many time in chat room, Come on Play first q's game plan. no force pass to Yao and let scola attack. guards need to drive to the rim......

Great Win. when they take the lead first time in 4th q, I feel like f...king...

    1. Never, ever, force pass to Yao when they front him or Double him.
    2. Yao, never try to do slow drible that=TOs
    3. Have to design some play for Novak.
    4. Tmac need rethink his jump selection, seriously.
    5. Fast break need more practice.
    6. FT need more practice.
    7. Let Tmac come from Bench and close the 4th q for us.
    8. Design some play for Tmac to ally oop.
    9. Tmac should lower lower his ball handle time, just play shoot guard most time. Let point guard to control the ball, he do catch and shot or ally oops.
    10. Control/Limit Yao's play time. he lost over 20 pounds already. I worry about the injury.

    Great WIN. Go Rockets

How the hell did the Warriors lose this game and they didn't have their first lead till the 4th? Rockets won this game plan and simple.

Then how do you explain his bad performance in Q3, after the half time?

For some reason the Warriors stopped fronting YM towards the end of game. The refs may have played a role, but I'm not entirely sure.

We actually didn't have too many TOs in the final minutes. That was surprising to me.

Wasn't it that last 76ers game when the Rockets blew a huge lead in the final quarter+ when they kept trying to force feed Yao the ball?

At least this game they made a conscious effort to minimize that problem. Adelman touched on it in the postgame. He tried to prevent them from pulling another Philly loss.

Ultimately, you are right, though. We stumbled across the line as we have done many times in the past when we've managed to win close games. If we played the Warriors 10 times straight, I would be surprised if we could win more than 3 games.

Ok, so I gave us a 10% chance to win this game and for most of the game I felt pretty dumb. However, GS made it close enough that I felt good with my %tage prediction.

So, great win......Luther Head was great, Yao was great, Alston was good and go Novak!!

Everyone else did their small part to help like Scola, Battier etc.

    Great win with out Mac.

The Rockets need to watch this game over and over. "This is what happens when we just dump the ball into Yao and he puts it on the floor far away from the basket. By contrast, this is what happens when Yao's moving around, the ball's moving around, and Yao gets the ball deep in the paint and makes his move immediately."

Finally, let's face it. Yao pretty much put this team on his back and carried them across the finish line. He was just huge, clutch even, at the end of the fourth. Even before that the rest of the team was doing a pretty good job of hitting back for once, trading basket for basket when the Warriors were trying to make their run.

Let Novak play but only for few min at a time. Any time he plays longer than 5 min in a row and the opp team realizes he's the weak link in our D it gets ugly.

Our perimeter D is damx horrible.

    Other than that, great win!!

I think it's our hesitancy on offense as much, or more, than anything we do different defensively. When we get tight on the offensive end, I think the players lose confidence that carries over to their defense. The other team also gains confidence by our lack of scoring.

Jackson: 7/14 with 5/7 at 3pts. You call this an off night for him? Harrington was not off either. Davis did suck tonight.

I love the clutch play by Romo, but the noice of Romo with TO kills the team this year, if everyone could play like Witten... :(

Yao's composure reminds me of Romo's best games in clutch time

Thank you. We need both of our stars to play at their best to make a push at the playoffs.

    Are we 25-20?

How can that be? You had already proclaimed us 24-21 in your infamous quitter thread.
