He's a passionate competitor. You wanna hear trash talking? Go look up "Larry Bird." Or how about "Michael Jordan." NO ONE talks trash like MJ and Legend did.
I like Garnett. What's weird is that I like the players on the Celtics, but I don't like that team now. Maybe because everyone is on their jock.
KG is one of my favorite players in the NBA. he hustles, plays hard, and gives his all every game. Plus he gets by on skill and hard work, not cheating or whatever. How can you not love the guy?
I don't hate KG, but I get tired of his ridiculous celebrations that we see after meaningless regular season games. Don't get me wrong I like emotional players, but I just think he takes it overboard and some of it might be a little fake.
Nash won it twice and in my opinion he cant even be mentioned in the same sentence as dream or any of the greats.
You could pull up unclassy trashtalk from every great thats played the game, MJ Magic Larry Sir Charles Dream etc....
zing ! that's me in real life. im a *******, but i used to be a huge perfectionist/workaholic. ive slightly toned down, but i still get the pms mood swings.
I think it was stupid of KG to talk trash to Al Jefferson. In the heat of the game,he was trying to psych him out.I'm glad Al gave him the reply that he deserved.I don't claim to know KG's mind but I feel he will some respect to Al if the youngster becomes an all-star. I'm basing this on his past history of praising his opponents, but I admit I might be wrong.
He didnt used to bother me, but his fist-pumping, rah-rah $hit has really pissed me off this year. Dude, you havent won anything yet. Just calm the hell down.
hes one of the best players in the L and he plays the right way. Im sure the Rockets do a lot of trash talking themselves, we just dont hear too much about it. KG is legit, and has earned my respect over the years, especially for being so loyal to a cellar-dweller that treated him like crap.
KG is all bark, no bite. Watch when he meets Cle or Det in the playoffs and wilts. Heck if they have to play the Wizards they are in trouble. Wonder what the excuse will be for KG after this season?
Garnet is a good player, but not a superstar, he chokes under pressure and can easily be contained because he doesn't have a go to move. The classic Pippen/Robin case...he needs to play with good players to succeed. DD
It was yao who wilted last time we played the Celtics, In fact I remember KG hitting big shot after big shot to put us away. Earlier this year against Toronto he scored 12 straight points on Chris Bosh to end the game.........all one on one isolation Go to shot= juke left, baseline fadeaway.........I thought everyone knew that....
