    Yeah, I don't think anyone is really serious about that AB. It's as others have said just a way of joking about how a glorified Hooters girls/610 ballgirl/whatever went from that to being featured in video blogs all over the website of the nation's 4th largest city's newspaper.

    Seriously. It's ridiculous. I don't read PaperCity for my sports & news and I don't read the Chronicle for pics of 50 yr old fake titted socialites at "fundraisers" or for a 610 ball girl to give me sports analysis.

    As for McClain, I actually feel bad for the guy and hope he doesn't have a serious condition. He was nowhere near that big just a couple of years ago. On the radio it sounds like he can't speak for more than 10 seconds without wheezing/sucking wind.

    Hopefully he's got nothing more serious than a hearty appetite for stadium dogs.

    Well, in his blog today at least he admitted why he really keeps her around:

    "Now, I'm being serious here, but I've had 10 or 15 members of the media ask me why Anna-Megan isn't here. They tell me they watch our videos on Chron.com. One from USA Today who wrote about us after he came to Houston to do stories on the Texans was extremely disappointed. I told him -- and the rest -- that, believe it or not, she has other duties besides football. Like the Rockets, for instance.

    Boss, I just had a brainstorm: In the crush to get athletes, actors and celebrities to do interviews in the media center, which is a zoo every day, I don't think anyone would turn down Anna-Megan. For some reason, anytime I think somebody's going to tell me no, I just send her to ask, and, believe it or not, they always agree. I wonder why that is."

    If that's what it takes John, you shoulda let me know. I know a couple of girls who dance at Treasures - they would fit the bill too.

    Those 10-15 media members were probably thinking that if she's willing to bone McClain, they probably have a shot themselves.

    They are probably fat slobs who couldn't find it with a magnifying glass and haven't been laid in years.

    Sheesh, Anna Meagan isn't downright ugly or anything, but let's be honest -- we ain't exactly talkin' about Josie Maran here...

    wow i was under the impression that most people enjoyed listening to mcclain, that guy is boring as HELL. i always listen to 610 but i change it immediately when mcclain gets on the air, he is really bad.

    he is a very connected guy in Houston. Whil he was covering the Oilers/Titans in Nashville (this is while I was at Vandy) he got several of my friends good jobs with the team. Just to say it outloud, he setup both guys and girls with some very sweet jobs.

    As a matter of fact all of these people now work for the Texans and Rockets in various upper level positions.

    I personally am not a fan of McClain, but his track record shows that he has some serious clout when it comes to the sports industry. So, if he gives you a shot - you got to go with it.

    I ******ng hate McClain for this reason (and for the fact that he has a raspy voice). When the Texans came to be... guess where he was? Covering the stinkin' t*ck*ng Fitans. :mad:

    John McDumbass has a face for radio and a voice for newspaper. STICK TO THE NEWSPAPER and the BLOGGING, Mr. McClain. :mad:

    Have I ever mentioned I hate John McClain with a passion? :eek:

    Now maybe I'm missing something, but the only article on USA Today's website about John McClain and/or Anna Raley is one in which they're interviewed about the NFL's internet video policy. 5 of the 45 paragraphs contain quotes or statements from them, strictly in the context of discussing the NFL's policy. The article also sources about 20 other people.
