...was obviously the best Steve Francis has ever played. My hope is that he will take that first half, and try to do the same thing in every game. I'm not talking about hitting every shot in ridiculous fashion. Those kinds of zones don't happen very often. I'm talking about being the first option on offense. I want to see Steve jack up 13 shots in EVERY half of basketball. He won't always shoot 90 percent, but I know the Rockets will benefit.

The Rockets almost never lose when Steve scores over 30 points. They certainly would have beaten the Jazz if not for our friend Joey. Steve should shoot the ball at least 25 times per game. We've seen it time and time again. Whenever he asserts himself offensively, the Rockets play well. When he blends in passively, the Rockets struggle.

Shoot the ball Steve, and shoot it often.

No kidding, I agree with every single thing you said. Whenever Francis is the first option on offense, he excels our play immediately. If the defense is focusing in on him, then it will be easier for him to find guys wide open. I wish Francis would get it through his head that in order for our team to play well, he needs to be a dominant figure on the court. No more games with him only taking 8 shots the entire game like he did in Indiana.

Francis neeeds to be the guy who sets up his teammates and lets them win the game. That's what the point guard is supposed to do. . I don't care what his vert is, if he's playing pg, it's better that he averages 15 assists than 30 points.

Agreed. But I do think the Rockets are MUCH better off with him looking to score more.

That's why he needs to be a SG, and Mobley needs to come off the bench or hit the road.

He would probably get those assist numbers if certain teammates would hit easy shots. This was even pointed out on the "NBA 2 Nite."

I agree. If only to limit Cuttino's shots, I agree.

The Steve to SG thing is not well received here. I think he could play that position, but I'm not sure he would be a better SG than a PG.
