Hello, we scored 30 points in the 4th quarter. T-Mac was 5-8 from the field over the last 6 minutes of the game. And we've won the 4th quarter battle with T-Mac in the previous 3 or 4 games, unlike the New Orleans and Philly game just prior to when he returned (19 and 22 points scored in those quarters, respectively).

Let's use some common sense here. When we allow the opposing team to score 37 points in the fourth quarter and we get 30 ourselves, we should be questioning our defense more than the offense.

Bad shots? They were good looks, its just that he couldn't get them to go in. He found his rhythm in the 2nd half and started draining them.

And what is this talk about him being lazy? He came out with 21pts, 9 asts, and 6 rebounds.

None of that?! At the beginning of the season, t-mac wasnt playing on a bad knee. You could tell from halftime to the 2nd half he was beginning to feel a little pain in the left knee. You should be grateful that he's even on the court playing for us instead of on the sideline healing up his knee like he should be. If we didn't have him tonight, we would've been blow out

On a side note. Please get better Yao! We needed him in this game.

Yeah, I don't know how you guys are pinning the 4th quarter collapse on T-Mac...the guy went 9-16 in the 2nd half, and had a fair 4th quarter. The overall offense was not at fault either...we hit a lot of 3's, and shot a decent 44% against a very tough Jazz team.

Just like in the playoffs, defense and rebounding were the Rockets' downfall.

trust me, we just outplayed by jazz, even yao is on court

it is not about the FT, it is about the 4qt, we just can';t deal with deron and brozer, simple same that.

i admire RA trust on rookie, but hey, isn't that too many rookie on the court?

we are not the rebuild team, i seriously doubt landry's time on the playoff,

don't get me wrong , he plays well, but defensively, heyes is much better than him, no to mention, ability to cover for yao.

brook will get time, because PG has been huge problem for us become etile team, Deron, paul , nash, park, davis, harris(terry), roy, AI..... man, our PG even outplayed by Sixer's Miller.

maybe try to get Bibby is only way for us right now.

Believe or not, it is Yao's cover on the paint area. He is definitely our defence power. Rocket rarely lets opponents score so much in clutch time...

Not many PGs in the league can guard Deron or Baron. They are just too damn strong. You have to put a bigger body on them to contain them.

With TMac as the primary ball-handler, there is really not much use for Rafer when he doesn't shoot well. Rafer's primary asset is his PG skills. If he doesn't handle the ball he becomes pretty useless.

I thought our D on Boozer and Deron was good. Ak47 and Krover killed us tonight, along with Harpring. Without Yao, we kinda scramble to get points. Gotta make those foul shots.

Yeah, and this is where Deke would have been the best defensive stopgap option.

Look at rafer's %. I swear he's deadweight. Scola... ok we missed out on what 5 points or so but look at rafer's consistent ****ty shooting. 4-13, 0-4 from behind the arc... terrible.

I kind of agree with that. Having Tmac and Novak on the floor is going to kill us every single time. Neither plays D with much intensity or provides adequate help D.

But the main reason is that because the Jazz blew the game open during the last few minutes, and the game got out of hand. Rockets got desperate and increase the pace of the game in order to make a come back attempt.

20 feet fadeways are good looks?

they are horrible shots....he should ve penetrated and kick the ball out...instead of taking contested shots (when he wasn't even in the zone....).

btw, if he wants to rest his knee or wutever, he should, and we should trade him too, paying 20 mil dollar to a guy who does nothing most of time does not make sense in any industry.

We could have won this game. Our defensive rotation sucked and Novak got burned a bunch. We need a big man presence to anchor our defense. Adleman should have played Deke. I blame this one on coaching.

T-Mac has got to play the offense. When he's jacking up shots from long range the Rockets look like crap. When the Rockets are passing to one another and they have decent ball movement they look pretty good. Look at the third quarter. In the first half T-Mac dominated the ball way too much. After the timeout the Rockets came back, started passing the ball and made a run.

9 missed ft's and at least 5 missed layups isnt anybodys fault? Could've made up alot of ground with 14-19 points

we scored 30 pts on offense. so offense wasn't the problem. if anything, not having yao out there hurt us with the interior b/c we had novak in there. on one play, novak was just clueless as to where ak47 was and i was like

again, in a close game, we missed 10 fts and 6 layups. c'mon people, simple math.

this is why adelman is so frustrated at press conferences. we always make mistakes that hurt us in the butt that are UNFORCED.

yao has to be the teacher for fts now b/c everyone sucks except for him and brooks.

and we need to do a layup drill -> why? b/c NO MORE LAYUPS. landry will be the teacher of DUNKING.

No such thing of if. I can't believe an NBA player can make just 1/9 free throws in 2 games. It's all about practicing hard and working hard.
