Why did Tmac settle for jumpers?

Why did the team shoot so horribly at the FT line?

Why did Novak stop getting the ball?

Why can't Rafer play decent with Tracy in the game?

Why can't Yao gut out a cold?

Can't lose these games, they are too important.

t-mac's 2 missed ft completely turned the momentun to the jazz and basically gavie this one away. his ft became so bad lately that you can expect him to miss both almost every time.

i'm saying in the perspective of OTHER teams. they don't want a player who's injury prone and having to pay 20 mil.

Actually, only three Rockets attempted FTs.

    TMac 0-3
    Scola 6-12
    Landry 3-4

Basically, TMac and Scola sucked at FT line.

add up all the "passed up" shots by our team, then subtract all the T mac "bad shots" and we come back to 0, we just need to switch those around.

along with making lay ups and freethrows

I hate our crunch time offense.. dribble dribble fadeaway jack

Agreed we have no dribble penetration from anybody else other than Tmac when Tmac is in the game. Everybody justs seems tentative. AB and Rafer just dribble over to Tmac and hand him the ball. It's unfortunate

Write something down when I still have the mood.

Those careless turnovers have killed us previously, killed us tonight and will kill us in the future. They are not Steve Nash or Jason Kidd, so stop throwing the ball to opponents or blowing our fast break chances.

We still need some perimeter guys who can penetrate (other than TMac). When Yao was not on the court, we have a hard time scoring in the paint. Shooting contested jumpers won't help.

I dont like our defense, especially in the fourth quarter, but I can stand it. The damned Jazz team has good shooters (except AK47) and usually executes you to death so could be difficult to stop. I just wonder what if putting Deke in the paint, we could protect the rim better and grab more rebounds. Landry and Scola hustled a lot but weren't tall/strong enough to win the battle in the paint.

The Rockets got the ball back after those missed free throws, and Scola hit two. Same result as if McGrady had made them himself.

Damn the Rockets don't play the Jazz again till April 14th. I wonder what the records of both teams will be by then and will the game mean anything?

They need to move to a different place to play in. Maybe a high school basketball court. Obviously homecourt isn't home court advantage for the Rox.

    1. He's Tmac :(
    2. Because they suck at FTs
    3. Cuz Utah figured out that he's good at shooting.
    4. Because Tracy's the anti-Rafer.
    5. Upper respiratory infections are more serious than a cold. Complications would be worse than a loss.
6 Yes, we should have won this one. The rockets need to work on backdoor defense. :(

How looooooooooooooooooooooog have the Rockets been a poor shooting team? I guess the Sura/Barry team was the last one that could seem to hit wide open shots consistently. If that isn't maddening enough, the free throw shooting is ABSURD! Just ridiculous. Inexplicable. I am without speech. Free throws! They are FREE. They are close. You have time. Little kids make free throws. How can you miss free throws? They are Free throws!

Actually I am thinking to trade Yao and T-mac together might get us a better team.

T-Mac is definitely a liability... but everyone would pay more than what Yao could offer because his market value.

So We might get a star team coming back when we trade those two, and fire up Toyota centre
