Needed Yao tonight to force the Jazz into playing doubling D. The Jazz will have the Spurs tomorrow in Utah and I can't wait till the Rockets play them again with Yao. This loss is bad but the Rockets are still in the hunt for a playoff spot. Plus Feb. 21st is around the corner maybe Morey can pick up a player that can help out the team.

No Yao Ming and Tmac shooting jumpers....not going to win any of those games.

AND to top it off, the team was HORRENDOUS at the FT line...very unprofessional.

i cant believe no one is shooting above 80% on FT except Yao and Brooks. Shooting is part of basketball Fundamentals!

if we miss the playoffs, there WILL be a lot of changes. and i'm not against trading tracy either.

but u can't trade him right now. his trade value is very low b/c he's injury prone.

and u can't blame this loss completely on tracy. he played well in the 2nd half and got us the lead with novak. but the bad thing about novak is though he can shoot he can't do anything else and it showed with his defense and rebounding.

    scola missed a GAZILLION layups.

and the entire team missed fts.

that's 12-14 gimme pts right there that we gave up.

we lost b/c we were not focused enough to make the easy shots.

i was really hoping t-mac can come out with energy, fire and passion.

instead, he came out lazy, taking bad shots. The team just followed him.

remember the 1st win against jazz this season? Yao was playing a horrible game, but t-mac stepped up and won the game...

he had none of that today....none.

    Why?

The Rockets tied this game in the 4th quarter and it came down to execution down the stretch and they got beat fair and square.

The Jazz are still a better team.

No we play with Tmac out there, but we still have to execute our offense like we did when we only had Yao and no Tmac. A jump shot within the flow of the offense if much better than a jump shot after pounding the ball on the floor for 8 seconds.

No the Jazz are not the better team. I still say that with a healthy Rockets team the Rockets would've beaten the Jazz tonight.

You expect him to be less injury prone in the future? As he gets older?

If Scola and T-Mac make their FTs, we win by one.

To attibute the bad FT to fans shows how much you got in your head. So you are expecting Rox shoot 10%ft in salt lake city and blame their fans' craziness instead of our homework?

Free throws, there's no excuse to miss so many, Tracy I tought reverted back to the jump shooting T-mac, for some reason shot 7 threes. But man Korver was the difference, I had no idea Philly was shopping him. Morey should really have tried to get in on that deal. On to GS.

    wut?? depth perception??

oh come on...shooting freethrow is about both mechanics and CONCENTRATION.

for scola and chuck hayes, just horrible mechanic, especially the latter, if the mechanic is bad, you will be inconsistent.

and for guys like t-mac and landry, who have a not-bad mechanic, they need to concentrate and focus. forget about the surroundings and just follow through the mechanic...

i think it's absolutely sad that our center is the best ft shooter....our guards should take that role.
