I could accept the Jazz loss (without Yao) if Boozer and the inside players killed us, but it was the perimeter guys that hurt us down the stretch. no excuse for that.
I think the late scratch of Yao threw off Adelman's game plan. Adelman had Yao playing in mind and suddenly Yao's no-go. Bad luck and bad timing.
I said it before and I will say it again, Deke was a bad signing, he doesn't fit at all..... But, it was a good marketing move. DD
Deke isn't for when Yao goes down. Deke is only there for defensive stops against good matchups for a few minutes. Deke doesn't want to play starter minutes. That's one reason he came to play with Yao, instead of a team where he can start at C.
