I offer a ton of trades in my 12cat fantasy league. One that just got accepted (but is not through yet) that I am a little worried about is............

    Incoming,
    Josh Smith

    Outgoing,
    Emeka Okafor
    Jamal Crawford

Is Josh Smith worth those two? Is this a good deal?

lol if i had josh smith i would want a lot more than that. i think its a good trade. smith's blocks and steals are insane, only downside i see to his game is his high TOs and average FT%. plus smith only takes up one player slot, i am sure there are FAs who can easily make up for whatever other catagories you lost in the trade.

Smith is one of the top players in the fantasy game.

    Do it.

man id be all over that deal. manu was on fire before his injury. smith will get you a ton of steals and blocks (2 categories where the difference of one block or steal means you win the category)

losing okafor will be tough on your rebounds but okafor is injury prone and you can find a fa to make up for it.

williams is having a good year but manu is still better.

    didnt see tmac included...

    hmmm.....

thats a tough one. it all depends on whether tmac stays healthy for the rest of the year.

id check to see how many games each player has left to play then figure out how many more stats they should contribute for the year. if the sum for manu and smith are greater, take the deal.

    So basically I traded
    Tracy Mcgrady
    Marvin Williams
    Emeka Okafor

    for

    Josh Smith
    Chris Kaman

Manu should get more time with Parker out (even if Stoudamire signs this week) but Kaman has been consistently good all season. His scoring is dipping a little this month, but he still gets you 13 REBs and 3 BLKs per game to go along with 17 ppg.

Of course it depends on your league settings and your team needs, but this deal could be a great one for you.

Kaman's 14 Reb and 3 Blks were too much to pass up,
    and I needed another Center

    Now I have
    Yao
    Brad Miller
    Cave Man
