Your math is illogical because you failed to take into consideration the fact that the first half of the season was more difficult than the second half of the season should be. Therefore, we should go -3.5 or -4 in the second half of the season.

3.5-3.5=0 or 3.5-(-4)= +1....... We need to say our playoff voices because once we come together and put some good winning streaks in Feb. and March, we will be making a deep playoff push!

It does contradict .... Rockets' trademark should be "Tmac and Yao's Offense", not "Battier's Defense". Based on his comments, Battier must think he is the NO.1 of Rockets.

The leap is that you somehow think by Battier saying defense and energy need to be the Rox trademark that he somehow thinks he is the No. 1 option for this team. He has said over and over again that Yao and Tmac are the best players and that he does the little things. How does that imply that he thinks he is the No. 1 option?

 

I'd reverse that trade in a freaking heartbeat.

With respect, if you don't want that particular dogfight, you should not put the part about Yao being the best player in bold red letters. I hope that makes sense, or perhaps Shane spoke those words in a bold, red way.

 

Battier saying defense and energy need to be the Rox trademark is ridiculous. Instead of asking his teammates to improve their defense and play more defense, Battier needs to improve his own offense and play more offense. He needs to shut up and improve his own game.
