True, but can you eat too much pickle twang? I'm going on 3/4 of a prescription sized bottle.

I guess if you find out the answer and it says its cool, nothing wrong with that? but you can't hold off a few nights until your sickness passes through? that'd be the smarter and healthier approach...

I was under the impression of "NO",antibiotics effectiveness are nullified by alcohol(drink a lot of water) in addition to sometimes tearing up your stomach giving you the runs.
And you just run down your system more making yourself sicker.

Drinking while taking antibiotics is not going to hurt you, I've done it plenty of times.

Is there a doctor in the house? :D

I mean everyone's body reacts differently but I was sure that I had heard they aren't as effective if you drink alcohol...ergo hydrating with water rather than dehydrating with alcohol.

I've always followed this rule....even back in the day when I was going out 5 nights a week....shut it down when I had to.

Soo...yea, depends on what antibiotics you are talking about. If it is cipro or some floroquinolones then it is metabolized through the liver and therefore affects the liver. Alcohol also affects the liver. So it depends on which antibiotics you are talking about. But I would consult with the doctor just in case :D .
