Now I'm no fan of the Hornets, but I love watching these 2 play. They are putting a hurtin' on the Western Conference teams this year. Would you rather have Boozer/Deron Williams combo or Paul/West?

Defensively, would you rather play Boozer/Williams or play against Paul/West?

I think Chris Paul is the 2nd best PG in the West besides Steve Nash, and infact if Chris Paul had the athlectism on his team as that of a Shawn Marion and Amare Stoudamire, I would think Chris Paul would be even better then he already is, possibly topping Steve Nash in that PHX Suns offense.

Chris Paul, David West and a bunch of so-so players are just below the Blazers for being the most surprising team. I predicted them to be 7th or 8th in the West. Not first.

I would take Chris Paul and Eric Montross over Williams and Boozer.

Let's just say I'm glad they don't play in that crazy Oklahoma City arena. Thanks NBA!

Replace any of our pgs with Paul, and even without Mcgrady we would be where the hornets are right now. The guy is simply phenomenal. It is scary to think that at the age of 22 he has atleast a decade more of playing at this MVP level (20+ points, 10+ assists, 2+ Steals) while nash will be falling off any year now. Since he is a pg, which is the toughest position to learn, and this is only his 3rd year, the sky is truely the limit for this kid. If he ever gets paired up with a lebron, dwayne, carmelo, bosh, howard, level talent, he will have a ring one day.

CP3 is on a whole another level right now. They are absolutely creaming the Spurs.

I didn't start watching much until the 4th quarter started. If you include Pargo's fluke shot at the end of the 3rd quarter, the Hornets scored 17 straight points.

After doubting them to start the season, I'm a believer now. The Hornets are Finals contenders if injuries don't kill them.

Exactly. They have CP3, West, Peja and a monster rebounder in Tyson Chandler. Not to mention, they also have Rybo. Jokes aside, this team is legit and should continue to do well barring any injuries.

I would take the Hornet duo because I hate all those tattooes. They look ridiculous.

The funny thing is that the Hornets are winning despite playing 4 on 5 on offense pretty much every night. Morris Peterson has been a total enigma for them. Their two headed horse up front of Chandler/West is probably the best 5/4 starting combo in the NBA.

The Hornets are playing so well I think it's time to consider they could be peaking too soon. I know Melo is out and the Nuggets aren't exactly playing with energy, but the whipping Paul & Co. are putting on them is downright brutal. 63-40 at halftime. It's like the Hornets are toying with them on offense.

This will all be forgotten if the Hornets fall flat in the playoffs. For their sake, too bad the real season doesn't start in February.

Is this supposed to be sarcasm? Paul is better than both these guys by far this year. He is second only to Lebron in the MVP race as far as I'm concerned. You haven't been watching or looking at box scores if you don't know Paul is better than Davis and Parker.
