Defense, Rebounding. C'mon, thats half the game. Hayes has quick hands, knocks the ball loose, is all over the court, is strong. He is a great compliment to Yao. There will still be minutes for Hayes. The way Landry and Scola playing, they will be reduced, but there will still be minutes for Hayes.

The next two games are absolutely critical to our playoff status. I'll hold off on answering this question until after those games. This is the time when our meddle (or, perhaps, lack thereof) will be shown.

Just got in. I'm sure this has already been touched on but we beat a freaking with playoff team with T-Mac and three rookies on the floor. BEAUTIFUL!! :D

I'm not sure how we're winning these last few games, but the good news is that we're winning. Landry and Scola played very well. Yao had an off night. I was very glad to see the Rockets have all the confidence in the world in the three rookies at the end of the game. We're slowly crawling back into contention although I wouldn't say that we're back in it until we see what happens in the next two; nevertheless, there are positive signs.

i feel like battier is under-appreciated for this game. i'm excited about the rookies' performance in the 4th, but battier's d on roy was near-perfect in the second half. roy scored a bucket or 2 and had a few ft's and that was it.

and heard them say landry has actually got a quite decent mid-range jumper. he just hasn't showed in the game yet. well he hit one tonight. it was obvious that his form was very good.

We turned the ball over alot. That was about it. Only shot 40.5%, but that would have better with better fast break execution. Outrebounded the Blazers pretty handily. Shot well from the FT line(for a change).

I am just not seeing the horrible play. Turnovers were about the only negative. Yao had a poor shooting game, but it happens. Thing is, the team overcame the negatives.

    WS&C,
Whether we win or loose the next two games, I still say we have turned the corner. Adelman has been looking for the right combination, and I say he has found it. We have gone from being a disappointment to a surprise. Hint: it involves three rookies.

one bad game from rafer in the last what 5? yao had a bad game too but we're not talking about benching him too.

rafer will be the starting pg for the rest of the season. the good news is that when he has a bad game once every 5 games, we have someone to back him up.

im not a huge fan of rafer but the dude works hard and he has to be given his props, even after one of his worst games of the season

Yao got 5 personal foul. I believe Yao won't mind cause he is a team player, as long the team win, he won't mind of his personal stat.

LOL @ bill saying," luther is giving me grey hair". That guy play too nervously when he has the ball. You're out there to shoot for crying out loud. Stop holding on to the ball or pass it correctly.

Biggest win of the year. Most of it was all positive other than the turnover bug, but 5 or 6 of those were just Rafer being Rafer (careless with the basketball). It's hard not to like what Adelman is doing with the team right now as far as the rotation goes. He's working the rookies into the game and they are playing more important minutes and helping us win games.

Carl Landry is already a man. He's so active around the basket, whether it be finishing or rebounding. Scola and Landry should be getting all the minutes at the 4 at this point. Hayes really offers nothing Scola or Landry can't.

Great win and I hope this is the start of a solid finish.

Adelman have to realise how to adjust the roster when play with the golden state worrier. I think Yao is not suitable to play with GSW. Try to adjust the roster to meet the need of the certain game. Give the rookie more chance while play with GSW.

ummm they have won 9 of 11 just like us, it should be a tough game but our players are finally starting to play like they should and are getting better every game as well as gaining confidence..
