Our fours stepped up. They had to do that with Portland hell bent on containing McGrady and Yao. We won a game with just McGrady only scoring 15 and Yao 11. We out rebounded them by 18!

    Even score distribution. Nice!

Yao: Finally an off night. Partially due to Refs' whistle.

TMac: Has been lazy during a certain period of time. But step up at clutch time. However, he should be more active in attacking the rim.

Scola, Landry & Brooks: Three big steals in offseason. Rockets will have a bright future once all of them learn how to play NBA games.

Battier: He did a great job defending Roy. Would be a loss without his hustle.

Head: A decent game. But he shouldn't dribble or pass.

Rafer: Back to old himself. In one possession, Rockets had a 4 vs 1 opportunity. It ended up with a ridiculous TO by Rafer.

    Wells: so so game

Hayes: I'm OK with his start. However, Scola and Landry should take most of his time.

Wow... No Chuck in the 2nd half... No Rafer in the 2nd and 4th quarters.

    These bizarro rotations are working.

Maybe Deke can get some run?...

Portland didn't expect to be beaten by the Rockets' bench; that was the difference in the game. Take Yao out of the game?... Doesn't matter. That's a good sign that this team can get along with team play.

    Go Rox

Our second half D are great.

Our Rookies win this game for us. Great.

that's another reason I love RA than JVG.

He give rookies try and glad to make change.

Tmac as 6th man are great

Don't think it's the official scorekeeper doing that. It's our own FSN crew handling the scorekeeping for the TV viewers.

This is a huge win! Rookies forked this win for us! Landry was amazingly athletic towards the end of the game. Rick will no doubt give him more minutes in the future's games! Landry and Scola bring us the hustle and offense which are what we mostly needed in the past. We are a whole lot better team if we could win games without YAO in the end of game

This was a grind it out game.

Head who played well on offense except for a really boneheaded turnover on a fast break, also played lousy defense, and rafer was just classic rafer but also decided to play a bit of VSPAN and his 5 turnover's were all just really bad passes. T-mac shot terribly and looks a bit sloppy on his passing and D, Yao was just having fits by prezbylla, but there were some ridiculous calls against him. In fact the refereeing was awful. The team was shooting like 40% and had 20 to's, and scola looked atrocious for a while but recovered in the end to be a hero. Brooks played ok but those to's were a sore spot as was his shooting tonight (atrocious), and battier - what can you say, doesn't score much, hits a few big 3's, misses a bunch of other ones, but puts a clamp on Roy.

How did we win this game by 10 pts??????

Landry was the hero tonight. He kept us in and shifted the momentum - a real gem. Forget big baby. We won this game because everyone played hard and incredible Defense (except head) and a massive advantage in rebounding.

So credit Yao-Battier-Landry-Scola on this one. They shut down the paint and Roy.

Gutsy win. But I think Utah will be tougher, and Golden State has our number. We need one of 2 of those games.
