I hate to say it, but I think if we stayed with Yao late in the 4th, we woulda lost this game.

tmac showed his growing leadership again. he chewed out scola and scola responded. and he trusted his teammates tremendously tonight.

I like Adelman leaving the unit on the floor that was playing well. In the past, a Head for Brooks sub would spell doom for us.

now we're finally seeing the team we'd hoped we'd have from the start: one that plays d and closes out games.

can't believe 3 rooks in the clutch. and they were all big and contributed. Proud of the Rockets tonight.

Yao got his 5th F, and his shoot touch is not there...

yea.. yao wasn't so good in this game... but he's allow that once in a while. hopefully, let's keep the backlash down eh? since we DID win the game.

great game by laundry and scola.

WTH was up with the really bad score keeping??? I still think we got robbed of 1-2 points in the 1st quarter? Did you see how the score kept getting messed up in the 4th? They gave portland 2 points on a Rockets basket. Fixed that. Then they took away Scola's basket. Fixed it. Then they took away Landry's FT. Fixed it too.

Portland sucked in the second half because the Rockets ground them down.

Next game we can't afford these many dumb turnovers, but let's enjoy this win first.

Tmac made several lazy passes before 4th quarter, but he played great in final minutes.

Scola and Landry, players of the game, hands down.

Yao shot horrible, but contributed on defense.

Rafer is horrible, horrible in fastbreak.

In my opinion, Blazer is the team we ought to pass in playoff fighting.

    Let's roll, rockets.

Scola might not be a master of the English language, but he's learned the important phrases for his postgame interview:

"I just want to help the team"

"Just going out there and giving 100%"

"We want to be a championship team"

He's been listening to Crash Davis on the long bus rides.
