I don't remember the last time I saw numbers like this from a team.

    58% FG
    71% 3PT
    100% FT

    114 Points

    to

    Boston Celtics with 112 Points

    Sometimes I wonder how Toronto isn't 33-8.

I still think the Celtics are going to the finals but boy they are overrated(IMO).

BTW Jose Calderon is one of the best point guards in the league hands down.

Statistically Calderon is amazing on offense. So efficient. Doesn't make mistakes apparently. But I haven't analyzed his defense. Is he solid? He deserves a big contract.

I was at the game tonight, man can the Raptors shoot the 3 ball. They ran this one set which 3 shooters park outside the line and have Calderon run a pick and roll with bosh at the top of the key. Got 3 straight 3s with the same set, unreal.

Unlike the rockets, everyone on that team can shoot it.

i saw the 2nd half of that game on league pass...toronto was amazing...i think they had like 18 turnovers..and still won AT boston...and yes they were hitting all of their shots....and calderon was beastly in this game.

They were shredding the Celtics D in crunch time like I haven't seen so far this season. Seems like every time I watch the Raptors, Calderon plays like an all-star. While he isn't quite as gifted at penetrating and dishing, he still finds the open man and I think he's better than T.J. Ford. His scoring ability sets him apart.

I bet T.J. will be coming off the bench however much longer he plays in Toronto.

Calderon is very good at passing, and his ability to hit the three sets up his drive very well. And with the number of shooters they got, you can't really help out on dribble drive too much or it's wide open 3s all night.

they shot an amazing percent from 3 and FT line and barely escaped with a win. the reason they won tonight is the same reason they arent a threat to any team in the playoffs..... they rely solely on the jumpshot. they cant shoot well enough for 4 games to win a series. cavs or wiz will beat them in the first round in 5 games.

    celtics will be fine.

The Celtics are exposed. Toronto has shown the league the way to beat them: Just shoot 70% from beyond the arc and 100% from the FT line and you have a very good chance.

I'm assuming Rajon Rondo is still out? That's the Celtics real problem - lack of depth at key positions.

I'm still saying if they manage to acquire D. Stoudamire or Cassell, they'll be unstoppable.

He played. Toronto was just hot. Celts are gonna go deep in the playoffs, no doubt.

Boston isn't built for the regular season. It's going to be very tough for teams to win four out of seven against them.

Not really. They are only 23-19 in the Eastern Conference. The reason they beat the Celts was their shooting 15/21 from long range and Boston's defense was slacking. The Raptors are no threat to anybody.

Toronto isn't going anywhere. Live by the three, die by the three - even more so than we did last year (and still do).

BTW, I've never bought in to this Calderon hype but is he really that good? I may be wrong but I think in Europe he was worse than Navarro, Jasikevicius and others.

They're built enough to have the best record in the NBA by 4.5 games.

Agreed. Antisonic, what are you on about.

They are built to win games full stop, hence the winning record.

Boston will definitely make a deep run, but their lack of interior defense will be their achilles heel.
