the thing is: yao missed several shots even before those fts. tmac made the clutch shots, just choked on the fts.

tmac still didn't look like himself. but that's why u have an outside game. a dwade wouldn't dominate like his on one leg.

he said the "offense" only. our offensive efficiency increases 6 pts with tmac only as compared to yao. but the defense is worse.

Will Seattle trade Durant for T-Mac?

I can't answer your question because I almost never watched Durant's games. But I guess Seattle Sonics knows the answer for my question.

I'm really getting sick and tired of waiting for the Rockets to be down late in the game so they can actually play with more smarts and better shooting.

I'm not surprised they play like scared punks for 3Q's and I'm not surpised that they came back from 13 down in the 4th.

Quit this crap. Just play the way y'all are supposed to play the whole game.

Make shots and quit letting up before you end up having to make it up.

    *****.

This will happen as long as Coach A insists that Yao Ming plays the facilitator and not the main scorer for two qtrs of the game. :p

T-Mac, on one leg, with defenders draped all over him, still scored more than Durant and made more plays. Durant traveled his way to a dunk, got a bunch of open jumpshots, and choked when the game got tough. Durant is a rookie who may turn out to be better than T-Mac, but it sure as hell isn't the case now, not by a long shot. He's not even better than a one-legged Mac.

lol at these guys comparing tmac and durant?

if we did the same thing, iverson would turn out to be much better than michael jordan b/c iverson outplayed jordan in their first meeting in his rookie year and came out with a win w/ some spectacular stats (durant didn't outplay tmac tonight)

durant will be a great scorer, with a possibility of being as good as tmac. he doesn't have the athletic ability, handles, explosiveness, or quick first step to warrant that just yet. all these things should at least be seen in your rookie year, when you should display glimpses of all of this.

but he has a better stroke and work ethic than tmac.

but one thing is for sure, his all-around game will NEVER be on par with tracy. he'll be more of an off the ball scorer.

As long as tmac comes off the bench for now so he can rest his leg a little . . and we all play share the ball consistently basketball . . with yao and tmac playins aggressive ball . . and if tmac can do what he did tonight, at a higher level once his leg heals up . . i say we're totally playoff bound . . and if we somehow face the jazz again . . i swear we better rape them so badly.

    Agree?

It's funny. saying you are TOF is not over the edge at all. You come out wiht piles of ^^%&& based on what?

It's ok you like T-mac so much. It's ok to be TOF, but it is not ok you praise T-mac by misleading others.
I am wondering where you were whne T-mac choked?

to be honest....i hate watching huge-come-win-down-20-points-games...just not good for my heart..

i am fine with crushing the opponent early and maintain a 15-20 points lead the rest of the game, with rookies playing the 4th quarter.

    that's the ideal.

Today game is the team game..
Its not about Tmac, Yao or who ever...
When alston hit a 3's to extend the rockets lead, it dimish all his punk shooting.. and when Chuck blocked Durant in the last possesion, it is a relief for he was not shooting well in the last couple games..
both of them contribute for the last play and it is a Win..

Now, its getting interesting to see how Rockets compete with the rising Blazers..

Yup. There's no need for last minute heroics if you just crush your opponent from the get go. Adelman's pissed off again. This is what he's talking about when he says that the Rockets always have to make it hard.

    Hey Crew

I still find it amusing that people can find ways to take shots at our team. The boys worked their asses off against a young team that can randomly fire and after watching tonights game i think the sonics played really well..

    Yao played well

    Tracy Played well

come to think of it most of the team diud what they had to to get a win.

People need to realise that every team in the NBA can produce or they wouldnt be there and on any given night they can fire the difference between those teams is the ability to steal a win in any situation

Maybe it's to try to motivate Tmac to practice his FTs!

It's not just "people". Adelman's a little pissed off too, and he's got every right to be.

I just came back from Key Arena in Seattle. Man, it was a good game. Rafer's 3 points shot stuned the whole crowd. And Hayes big time block......

We were down by like 10 when 5 min. left. Especially after Durant's shot, everyone just went crazy like they've already won. I was so mad that just wanna kick every Sonic fan's ass around me.

But, T-mac saved, Rockets saved me. Otherwise I defintely gonna spend tonite behind bars.

Yea I'll be negative just because I can. They won...and that's what matters, but how in the world can you play back to back games against one of if not the worst team in the nba and expect to consider yourself a playoff team? Seattle was in both games in to the 4th quarter and it took a miracle to complete the sweep. No sense of urgency from this team, and really I just don't think there is any leadership. They were coasting through 3.5 quarters headed for the loss.

I'm all for the Rockets making the playoffs, but it will be a short trip if they do. They have talent, and at times look they can beat anyone, but they are who we have come to know them to be.

Just wish they would take every game with a sense of urgency, that's what got us 52 wins under Van Gundy last year.
