    A win, ugly or pretty...

We are now happy and are commending TMAC and Yao.
But I am wondering, what if Durant made the last shot?
Will you make the same judgement on their game?

we still shot 47% (so in essence our offense was consistent in both halves).

the sonics went from shooting 65% to 51%. that won the game.

That one play gives him player of the game? He played well, and I don't know if we'd have won without him. But the guy who was making all the plays for us down the stretch was T-mac.

One more thing: the only reason Yao didn't foul out Collison and Thomas is because the Rockets lost him in the second quarter. The Seattle announcer said that Yao was becoming Shaq-like in his abililty to force defenders to rotate on him or foul out. That's the SEATTLE announcer.

The team needs to look to doing this on a regular basis. During the stretch where T-Mac was out Yao fouled out an opposing center in five of six games, or something like that. Get the opposing bigs in foul trouble. It'll throw them off on the offensive end and make them tenative.

And play more Brooks. Alston turns his game when he figures he has to demonstrate that he's worthy of keeping his job.

Great game. But you have to admit the Raptors over the Celtics was much more exciting.

Quick question: Is there a sub-forum on bbs where the true Rockets fans, the ones who support the whole team and want the whole team to do well, can go and have smart basketabll conversation with each other?

If not, can we create one...unfortunately, this board is now full of people who are either T-Mac haters, Rafer haters or YOFs or TOFs and so on and so forth...it's geting annoying!

I dunno, but I am sold on Carl Landry getting more PT...specially when Scrubola is in the house. Great job by Mcgrady...he looks to be buying more into the system...slowly....come on, come on....

If Durant made the shot, I'd blame Adelman for giving Tmac the ball after he shot 1/4 on the line.

Yeah, forget about the missed FTs. Haters just have to deal with that. A win is a win. The rockets would not have even made it a contest without T-Mac.

    Pros: TMAC make fans exciting.
Cons: He put team in jeopardy, and sometime he can't pull out.

Frankly, I thought the Rockets looked awful for most of the game. Sort of like they usually do. But, TMac got hot, the defense picked up, and they miraculously won it. Maybe it will be some kind of turnaround for them. Landry continues to impress me. He makes some big time shots and hauls down some big time rebounds.

I thought we played pretty well, they where shooting the ball extremely well. A few easy baskets; but a lot of jump shots and they were falling for them. People are to damn negative here. The team showed great heart and we came back. Win is a Win.
