Kobe plays the high post at times because he a tall guard and has a beautiful turn-around jumper.

T-mac plays more out on the flats and way from the key, but i guess if that's what people are calling the high post then sure....i think t-mac is more effective there then probably taking 3 pointers.

but you are right, it will stagnate the offense. unless it's done with time running down on the shot clock or in clutch situation - i don't know....i thought everyone wanted t-mac to be a peja type player.

There are plays that start there. It seems like that when he gets the ball there, he's just looking to score.

Jumpshots with low FG% is not good fit to current system.

Agree. And I think we will see more of it when he's healthier. Right now he really doesn't seem to be that aggressive in trying to score, which I can only assume is because the knee still hurts, and conditioning is an issue.

I don't think Yao in the high post at times is a bad thing. It keeps him fresher and gives the defense different looks.

    What?

The discussion is Tmac in the high-post/elbow, not Yao at low post.

I think T-mac already plays at the elbow. But mostly he just takes turnaround jump shots from there.

Wait wait wait....weren't you on here earlier asking for proof about him actually playing at the elbow?
