Better or not, why is it not OK to expect a $20 million per year player to actually play like he's interested and cares about winning? This is one of the problems. Yes, a 75% McGrady (whether the other 25% is missing because of injury or lack of effort) makes the Rockets better. But he holds the team hostage with his "injuries" and whether he wants to play hard from night to night. Imagine if we had a 100% McGrady for all 82...we could be atop the West instead of stuck in mediocrity...

I don't like to measure heart's of different players, and I whole heartedly disagree that he fakes injuries or whatever. I judge how much a player deserves by his production and how he affects the game. T-Mac is one of the few guys who annually averages 25/6/5, and outside of 3-4 other perimiter players, no one can change a game just by his presence alone like McGrady. I understand your frustration, but I feel it is a bit misguided.
