I ordered a laptop from Dell.com Was shipped on 1/17 with the DHL express service (3-5 business days.) Delivery Date: 1/21/2008 Carrier: DHL EXPRESS Tracking Number: 55255128530 So will I get my laptop tomorrow (MLK day) or no?
I recently had 3 items from delivered Dell delivered by DHL. But it was such a hassle, since they require a live signature from you. They will show up at your place like at 1PM in the afternoon, while you are at work. Since the items are from Dell, they just can't leave it at your front door. Thus they kept trying to deliver in the middle of the day when no one was at home. This went on for six straight times, until I got tired of this and told them I would just pick up the packages myself from the warehouse.
If it was anyone but DHL I'd say yes. I have had multiple bad experiences with them. I don't think MLK day will have anything to do with it.
OMFG! When I ordered my iPod from Apple, it kept saying delivery attempted/failed when I tracked it. This happened 3x then they sent the package back to Apple who mailed it back to me. They did it 2 more times, then on the last delivery date (6th attempt) I was going to pick my sister up from school and saw the DHL truck, and was like oh yeah, finally. Then he stops in front of the guys house across the street to the left and knocks on his door. I confronted him and asked him if the package was for Ronnie, and he said it was. I showed him my ID and told him I lived across the street. He said it wasn't the 1st time the computers sent hiim to the wrong houes. He went through it 5x just with me.
I ordered a Dell and they shipped through DHL...they left it on my porch...no signature... Good thing I have safe neighbors. DD
well i ordered from woot and the whole smart post thing, i dont think ill actually ever get my package
