i like the new rule, and the fact fans vote only count as the final round. hopefully, judges judge fairly. i'm hoping for a dwight howard and jamario moon finals.

Someone should have offered James "Flight" White a 10 day contract. :(

after watching dwight in person, it would be a travesty if he doesn't win. i would bet my car that he could jump high enough to sit on the rim.

Hopefully Dwight Howard won't get robbed like he did last time. I'll always remember that "sticker-dunk" that the judges gave him no credit for. Absolute travesty.

i don't know, most of his dunks are just plain. his extended arms and hops just don't do it for me, if he doesn't have any creativity. since he doesn't have any power in his dunks, he has to be realy creative. all i want is a good contest with fair judges unlike last year, where dwight howard just got robbed or the year before that, where A.I. got robbed for the midget.

That dunk was ok but you've got to do more than just jump high to win the contest. His dunks reminded me of Ralph Sampson in the dunk contest (tall guy awkward style), but at least Ralph pulled a 360. :D

In my opinion, that dunk wasn't very impressive. He jumped very high, but his dunk was very plain. But don't worry, now that DHow is a media darling, he'll get a lot more leverage.

all I know is James White did a 720 dunk before. If he did that in the Dunk contest, forget about it!

Would it kill them to go with more than 4 guys? The whole competition feels like it takes 20 minutes the past few years. I'd much rather have at least 6 players with the bottom 3 out after a round, then another round to get the finalists, and then the last 2 guys square off. It's only an extra 6 dunks total, so it wouldn't take much longer. It would just be more interesting to see a bigger field of contestants.
