Found this MTV Cribs ripoff of Chuck Hayes when he was in college. Kinda cool. Funny to see how little he had, glad hes made it to the big leagues.

haha the wildcat lodge. when I was a kid I went to the old one for halloween, the players would dress up like monsters and have a haunted house for the area kids. nothing will scare the hell out of you as a 6 year old like a 7 foot zombie leaping out of a corner. this looks a like a different building, the old one was near memorial coliseum I think? maybe someone who still lives in the area has been there.

hell no. that's living large. UK players never lived in dorms, even back in the 80s the wildcat lodge housed 12-15 players in a building the size of a frat house. Their training facility is the size of a school. Players were always "taken care of" well by boosters.

Oof. I pray NCAA officials don't get wind of this video haha. Just that row upon row of shiny new rides, I mean, come on Chuck you don't want to get Kentucky in trouble now. Sure, every school does it in some form or another, but still you can't be making video testimonials of it, that's like rubbing it under their noses.

I have that at home. Useless because once that thing goes up it's too high to eat at from the couch. I guess if you're 6-5 like Chuck it's not a problem.

Why was there a Steve Francis jersey? (Magic no.3)

Yeah, I was about to say that I can't understand how student athletes would want to live off campus but I imagine that the UK basketball players have a pretty unique deal there. I remember the dorms for the student athletes at A&M looked like the ones I lived in, except the sidewalks were always cleaner and the grass always greener. I have no idea if inside they were maybe set up differently.

Also, all those damn SUVs were definately "gifts." I'm surprised nothing came of that, it was painfully obvious. At least Chuck was rolling in slightly beat up pickup, that looked like a college student's ride.
