He used to be for Romney, but then he got so embarassed by Romney's horrible showings in Iowa and New Hampshire, he flip flopped away from him. Since then, he's either found the field so incredibly weak or been so incredibly depressed over the plummet of his first choice flip flopping hero he won't stand up for anyone else. It's a very embarassing year for Republicans when the most winged out wingers of them all can't find a candidate even after South Carolina, but that's the pathetic nature of the GOP field. And if you think Jorge's weak ass dilemma is bad don't even think about poor basso. He's been for Giuliani (!) -- you know, the guy that finishes 6th after Ron Paul in every vote -- for over a year. And then a couple weeks ago he abandoned him for (of all people) Fred Thompson!!! Apparently basso's the sort of radical Republican that can't get behind anyone that can string two third places together. Poor, poor basso. He thought he was backing a frontrunner and then he thought he was backing a couple of 3rd to 6th place guys. He'll go wherever the GOP wind (oh, excuse me!) blows him.
Hillary and Rudy need to drop out. Hillary is unelectable and Rudy needs to give up the Florida schtick and just quit.
Can someone please esplain me in detail how Mister McCain is no a Repub? Is this just because he frequently disagreed with Mister Bush? I get that you want all Repubs to cut taxes, but do you have to cut taxes and spend like an idiot now to be a Repub? And is it anti-Republican to think, circa 2002, that Rumsfield's plan would end up prolonging conflict, raising trop casualties, and costing more money in the long run? That was McCain's prediction, and it looks pretty smart now. Not Repub or Dem... just kinda told-you-so shake-your-head smart. And I didn't know any one party had any one stance on immigration. Doesn't sound that way at the debates...
Yes He is in philosophy but he is not beholden to Cheney/Rove/Murdoch and the moneymen behind the RNC. He's not going to repeat their talking points by wrote and that scares the hell out of them.
I think the Nevada caucuses were a somewhat bs political event in that a small group of people had disproportionate weight in an event perhaps designed to appeal to the media. Think about all the talk about the caucuses, the law suit and decision to keep Kucinich out of the debate, the law suit over caucuses at the casinos, etc. etc. There were a total of about 10,000 votes casts in the Democratic primary. Hillary won roughly 5300 to 4700. That is a miniscule number, the Iowa Caucuses had 200,000 atendees and even in the small state of New Hampshire there were many more voters. Yet we have all the headlines about Hillary beating Obama, like the results are comparable.
for the record, john forbes kerry volunteered to go to vietnam while your precious bush was an ivy league male cheerleader. and how did your precious bush "earn" his money? the bush family has more money than john forbes kerry could ever dream of marrying into. and as someone who likes to chide others for spelling errors as much as you do, im quite shocked to see that you would misspell "protester". how embarrassing for you!
