I just saw on ESPN that the fight is set for January 26th, 2008. Any comments?

Personally the fight will be boring, I'm hoping its not PPV. I don't mean boring in the sense that it will be lacking action. I mean because both fighters are fighting for nothing. I want to see it, but not pay for it. Kinda like the Mayorga vs Vargas fight coming up next month.

2 well beyond their prime fighters looking for one last paycheck. I won't pay for it. I just can't imagine this being a good fight.

Unanimous decision with two knockdowns for Jones over Trinidad. It was a surprisingly good fight through the first six rounds and then Jones cruised. He looked pretty good tonight.

I wouldn't say it was a dominating fight because neither fighter really took it to the other, but it was clear that Jones was definitely was toying with Trinidad. Felix did NOTHING to hurt Jones, who was blocking almost everything that Trinidad threw. One of the announcers summed it up best when he said something along the lines of this being a fight of an old guy against a slightly younger old guy that hadn't fought in 2 years.

fight was exactly as I expected. felix threw chopping rights and lefts upstairs and down, but because of his lack of skill, he couldn't really do a whole lot to swing the fight his way. Roy did what Roy has always done, just use skill to breakdown his opponent and beat him. I don't know how Roy would fair against Calzaghe but it would be interesting to watch...although not on PPV.

Anyway, Tito should Re-re-retire and stay that way, unless the guy drops back down to Welter, I don't see him having anything left at anything higher than 160. He just isn't built to fight bigger guys as evident from the his losses.

CANT WAIT FOR PAVLIK-TAYLOR 2!! next month!
