Yes, its out on the 1560 am website. See first post in this thread by Clutch. Look under Podcasts under one of the tabs.
No, that podcast is from a previous broadcast. It would be great for these to be posted, or recorded, and everyone have the link. I think it would be listened to a lot. Anyone else know a link?
So, Clutch, Feigan is emphatic that Morey et al want to do nada/nil/zilcho at least until the 'deadline. A month away. Is JF credible? Or is he tethered o the Rox mercilessly? If the Rox aren't closer to seeing a legit play-off run then what is the strategy? Does TMac go, or does he stay? If this is a lotto team does that inter his trade value significantly? Can they find a taker for mj? Would Riles do mj/Bonzi for J-Wms' expiring? Can Landry replace Hayes and = his D/RBs while adding O? Enquiring minds hope you will address this here, or on the air Sunday.
Are you kidding me? Mike James is doing n-o-t-h-i-n-g. Absolutetly NOTHING! What good do you think does the Rockets if you put James in instead of Brooks. Aaron is younger, faster, better shooter. Nuff said.
yo can u talk a lil bit abuot tmac..i dont think he did crap yesterday do u think he'll continue to do good or continue to come in and shoot 20 shots than miss like half of em
When will Hayes get benched, and when do Scola and Landry start to get the bulk of the minutes at the 4?
I think he was doing a decent job flowing into the motion/ball movement offense with the second group (Brooks/Scola/Landry); maybe because the starters are used to passing the ball to him and just watching rather than moving around...not sure how much of that can be put on T-Mac. Secondly, the last play of the game, where T-mac drew the double in the lane and passed of to Yao which put him on the line (which could have sealed the game had he made the freethrows)...is the reason he is so important to this team. Yao, as great as he is, can't close out games due to his size or whatever else...
hayes is still better defensively. So you want to set up the tone at the beginning of the game, then have Scola and Landry come in to give other teams a different look.
Who was that guy that sounded like Louie Anderson and kept criticizing the Mike James trade? It was painfully obvious how poorly informed he was about the circumstances regarding it, but nevertheless he insisted on defending his ignorant diatribe for the sake of saving face. Sure, in hindsight the trade was slightly superfluous, but in terms of roster value nothing's really changed except that we pay 5-6 mill for three years instead of 7 for two. At the time it was an absolute necessity to get someone who could penetrate, shoot, and challenge Rafer for the starting spot. As they say, competition makes everyone better.
Sticking the thread for tomorrow morning's show, but want to explain the way the show works for those unfamiliar with it. If you can't call-in (713-439-1560), you can post questions/topics in this thread and we will try to discuss them on the air. In fact, host David Nuño usually reads it out -- "HayesFan writes on the board that ... ", etc. So I'd love to hear from you guys calling in, but if you can't, feel free to post it here (maybe I'll start creating a new thread for each show every week instead of the same one). And as always you can listen to the show online at 1560thegame.com. Thanks, Clutch
