Damn it. post-game analysis become a place bashing Yao. I really need a place to stay, but not in there.

It's really hard to play for Rockets since we got so many haters here ....sigh :(

Yeah, man Landry's energy lit up the Houston's arena. I just could not help thinking that block again and again. That is something you want out of Landry's body. Fresh & New Energy & Power.. Just love it.

I hope he will get more time on the court. I am sure he has flows and yet has not been seen. Sooner be found better it will be for him.

Our Rookies Scola&AB&CL are our fortune!!!!!!!!

Landry is impressive and will only get better. Give him more PT and if let him
improve his defense. I can see he'll help Yao in getting the rebounds and this guy can score!

I always thought that +/- was a bit overrated and tonight was proof

Landry had a lower +/- but you felt his presence more in the game

Chuck, yeah he played good man up D on Duncan and had a few slap downs, a few rebounds, and your usual hustle points, but he also missed a wide open layup and was his usual inneffective offensive self

Landry is a beast but one thing i noticed is that he usually always puts the ball on the floor once before he goes up rather than just getting up. so far it hasnt redulted into any turnovers. he will be a beast.

After seeing more of him playing, I guess maybe he can give us more than Hayes can.

But for now, I hope that we can see Hayes, Scola, and Landry all playing well at the forward spot.

I'm impressed that he's been able to show that he can play against a top player like Duncan and a top team. I'm also happy that Adelman gave him the chance to play!

He and Aaron Brooks together are exciting to watch! Definitely expecting them to become better and better as NBA players.

haha, the boki-malone thing was awesome

Swift at least took the test. Landry's just enrolled in class is all

Gotta consider that Landry is already 24, so no need to bring him along too slow like a high school kid just coming in the league. I say keep throwing him in there.

As bad as Hayes has been offensively lately, he is our only power forward that can guard Duncan a lick. Adelman can't afford to put Yao on Duncan the whole game.

Hayes is a slump. He clearly lost his confidence after all the booing he has been getting on the road.

Competition is good. Hayes better improve on his shooting or he'll lose his starting spot to Scola and playing time to Landry.

Except for getting lost on a PnR, Scola did okay on Duncan. Yao was very effective against Duncan, too.

I mean as good as Amare. I see he has the athletism and the ability to make
midrange shots, rebound impressively and dunk.

We have Alston as our PG, not Nash

but seriously, Amare is way more athletic then Landry, and as long as Nash is feeding him with a golden spoon, he will always be better

Well, :D I know it's a little over the hill but let look at him this way,
the guy can rebound, dunk and has a good range. His defense is not
very good but Amare wasn't good in defense either. His %FG is impressive,
3-4 tonight and if he get let say 10-15 shots, he could get 20pts ++.
He can hop, run and made several impressive blocks.

A couple of times when TD had made up his mind to shoot, Scola forced him to put up a couple of sorry attempts. Scola's defense is improving faster than I thought it would. He still has a ways to go but I'm hopeful.

This is the Carl Landry I expected to see. The guy who will drill the 15-17 footer if you leave him open. The guy who will hustle and battle in the trenches and won't back down from anyone. His recent play is a big relief after the disappointing summer league performance.

My favorite moment of the game was when Landry had the ball near the basket and zipped a pass out to AB, who drilled a 3 pointer.

Huh? I don't remember Landry taking any jumpers tonight, Scola hit a few and missed a few more, but Landry just had dunks and putbacks.

Adelman even said in the press conference that even though we haven't seen it yet, Landy does have a 10-15ft jumper.

    Maybe I read you wrong.
