I don't know if Francis can contribute anymore but he certainly doesn't look out of shape. In the picture with Adelman his girth is in his shoulders not around his midsection and look at how lean his legs are in the pics of him.

    Thanks for the photos.

What i'm wondering is since Yao obviously struggles with being the team leader if he also leads them in practices. On the former championship teams there were several leaders besides Olajuwon, which were Maxwell, Thorpe since he was co-captain and kept people focused on the game plan and the real playmaker on the court and inspiration: Kenny Smith. 9 times out of 10 when they were in the huddle after announcing the starting lineups he said something + whenever there was a time-out you always saw him / Olajuwon talking. McGrady's not a big talker so hopefully there are other players i don't know about who take some kind of leadership. I think Rafer is doing this and of course Mutombo because of age but i'm doubting there's really somebody in practice who talks to all the players about what happened, that they need to focus, get serious etc.

Is there any1 who thinks they might have a leadership problem too ?

This team needs a motivator captain. Everyone is just too nice and they need someone to step up and bring some fire. I wish Francis could be that guy but other than him, I don't see anyone else with any such leadership skills or fire in them.

I'm really sick of seeing these kinds of posts. Maybe it's just that this team isn't that good.

Have you ever stopped to think that maybe just maybe we still need players who can create their own shots and are not midgets for guards?

How about some athletes? We have the same freaking starting 5 from last year and you people are still talking about fire.

Have you seen other teams? How many teams have players 6"4 and under running the show and winning?

We need better role players, because this team obviously cannot compete, I don't care who the two stars are, the role players aren't good enough.

...yet he's a starting PG for an NBA team and putting up solid numbers at that position while you sit behind a computer and critique his photos...

Yao Ming: Dynamite beats paper because that's what you are. In fact I don't even need dynamite to beat you cuz you're more like wet paper.
