Come on guys, T-mac said all the right things here and i take back what i said about his comments earlier about depth perception etc. You can see in his eyes he's hurt about not playing and this is how he is. 99% of his interviews he talks the way he does, like he has no fire but on the court you can see he does only when they're down it's like he drops right back. He's right about those explosions and cuts, the only thing is he didn't do it a lot after they went back to JVG style / McGrady decided he wanted to move up the ball and force jumpshots. That's not his game even though he has a nice touch like Kobe, Lebron or Iverson but McGrady's game SHOULD be cutting and exploding on offence. Like Bonzi does from time to time when Yao's posting up and receives the ball somebody's gotta cut right away and dunk that ****. That's got to be McGrady and he's right for not coming back, if he forces this injury and no telling if he will ever return. I rather have him back sooner than later too but he's not ready (mentally and physically).

I really hope everybody's at their best against San Antonio because they just lost from the Cavs and will definetly be fired up to make up for it.
I also hope Francis will come back and if not why because it's really frustrating not knowing what's going on with some of our guys. Also Snyder, i've checked his stats and he can shoot the three, dunk so why doesn't Adelman give him some time ? Believe or not, Francis can still do it like against the Suns with some blocks, assists and 10+ pts.

I'll be the first to say it, Tmacs career is over !!!!!!!

About 6 weeks ago I posted here saying tmac has the same "bone knee bruise" injury that ahman green has...kinda like jumpers knees....mri says "its a bruise" but its almost like a permanent injury ......i was laughed at on here saying back in november tmac will ALWAYS have knee pain...alot of you told me that i was wrong since i was not agreeing with the rockets trainers....but im telling you, tmac cant be traded cuz of the bad knee,...and this summer you CANT trade him cuz NO TEAM will want a 20million player with bad knee..

should have traded him the first week of season after that 45 point game in utah....oliepere made a thread about it that week...saying "hard to argue with 45 points"....but yeah,...you could have gotten a good player then like a redd or artest...now you cant GET ****

You know I was reading about Dwayne Wade and he's still not fully recovered from shoulder surgery and his knee still hurts. I thought it might take longer than the off season to heal from last year. In any event, check out this quote from Dwayne. T-Mac would do well to learn from Dwayne at least in his press conferences about what to say.

    http://www.sportsline.com/nba/players/playerpage/400578
Heat guard Dwyane Wade has no plans to quit on the season despite Miami being last in the East in the standings and Wade dealing with knee and shoulder injuries. "To say shut it down right now is a joke," Wade said in the South Florida Sun-Sentinel. "We have obligations to our fans. We have obligations to ourselves and our teammates and everyone that puts a lot into us to go out there and perform. Unless you're out there hurting yourself even more — that's not good — but if you can play, then you play."
    (Updated 01/15/2008).

    Dwayne's a warrior.

Sorry to say but not a good comparison. Wade sums it up greatly:
Unless you're out there hurting yourself even more — that's not good
If T-Mac plays on Saturday or even gives his all, despite the injury, he's going to hurt himself even more. T-Mac is being cautious and there's nothing wrong with that seen the injuries he's had and when he tried to play through it last time. He already showed heart by playing through it earlier only he's not speaking out like Wade is. It maybe true that Wade's more of a warrior then T-mac but it's not a good comparison because T-mac would only hurt himself more and it will affect the team in a negative way.

Thats fine but look what Wade said in the press. That's exactly the type of stuff T-Mac needs to say too. But nooo. I did think that all these guys went through media training in their rookie year. Somehow I think T-Mac forgot what he learned.

I bet the main reason Tmac lacks confidence right now is all the negativity from fans trickling down and bruising his ego. I mean, he heard that BS rumor about his wife cheating on him last year so I've no doubt that he's constantly hearing about all these "Tmac sucks/trade Tmac!" threads. Tmac needs to be coddled to perform at his best. Van Gundy knew this and Tmac was ironically the only player whom JVG wouldn't yell at.

Tmac's got a fragile ego and we all know it. The best thing we can do as fans is to ease off the hyperbole and maybe not add fire to some of these trade rumors. Let Tmac know that we're still behind him and give him a chance to run the new offense w/ the rest of the team. That's the most constructive thing to do at this point, IMHO.

You know what? Screw that, if Tmac is going to pout and basically shut it down as a "I will show them" type of move then we should trade him to the worst team in the NBA.

It is time the guy got shown some tough love he has been coddled enough.

Tell that to the haters, they have no respect for anything at all. I feel hurt when I'm reading all these bashings lately, not to mention that all the reporters keep asking Tmac offending questions. I could only imagine how he feels right now. Cheer up, Tmac, at least you will always have our love.

    Agree 100%

    By the way,
it's known the Rockets crowd is one of the worst ever. Even in the Summit, only until 94-95 the fans got really behind the team but they need to get it together and start cheering all the time. They should have a reserved seat section for Chinese people and sell them 20% of every game, i bet you it will be much better. When i was at the Garden there was a great atmosphere and everybody was cheering for the Rockets, except when Yao dunked on the Knicks' centre and mainly because of all the Chinese / Asian Yao fans.

When he comes back, he'll be mad and score 45 pts to shut the fans up. At least I hope that is what him reading this stuff will do.

    Well,

T-Mac is out until maybe the all-star break. Marbury is out probably for the year.

There goes my credibility on trade rumors! I now hope that they trade T-Mac for another twat sometime this year. How about T-Mac for um...

lol @ "my whole game is based off explosion and cutting"...hahaha....."my whole game is based off of chucking up off balanced jumpers" would've been more accurate.

okay fair enough... but why were alot of these guys who are now defending Tmac...

not defending Yao or attacking him... for not playing like he was last year... before he broke his knee...

In the playoffs... one month.... after he got back from that broken knee injury....

the heat would be absolutely atrocious without him in the lineup....hell they're atrocious with him in the lineup....granted he isn't 100%, but I'm sure he'll look better next season.
